I looked through dozens of phone deals and the Pixel 10 Pro at 32% off is pound for pound the best one — here's why
It's a showcase for how AI works well
Phones are expensive, but thanks to Prime Day, you’ll find epic discounts on several of the best phones I’ve tested. I looked through dozens of deals and this Pixel 10 Pro at 32% off from Amazon is pound-for-pound the best deal I’ve uncovered.
Normally, you’d pay a whopping $999 for this top-tier Android phone, but a $315 instant discount drops it to $684. Amazon’s offer basically makes this flagship phone cost as much as the average mid-range phone. Best of all, it’s an unlocked model that’s ready to connect to any wireless carrier.
Amazon has even more Pixel gadgets on sale for Prime Day, with savings up to 51% off for a limited time. Here are all the Pixel devices I think you should look at.

The best Pixel Prime Day deals
The Pixel 10 Pro is the best phone deal I've come across for a number of reasons. First of all, it's the phone with the best AI features I've tested, including things like using AI to enhance zoom photos, Call Screen that uses the assistant to take phone calls for me, and the ability to make complex photos a breeze by simply describing what you want. I've reviewed the Pixel 10 Pro and I can tell you it's well worth its cost.

My second favorite Pixel deal is this 33% discount on the Pixel 10. When it comes to base flagship models, this one's my favorite — beating out the iPhone 17 and Galaxy S26. Why's that? Well, between the three, it has the best telephoto camera with its 5x optical zoom. On top of that, it shares many of the same AI features as the Pixel 10 Pro models.

Everyone in the Tom's Guide office knows that I religiously wear the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Compared to the AirPods Pro, they're a lot smaller and more discrete. I also love how it has pretty good noise cancellation that drowns out all the background noise, so I can write deals like this in peace without disruption. And yes, the sound quality is impressive. I even use these earbuds whenever I go to live concerts to protect my hearing.

If you need a reliable smartwatch on your wrist to take away the distractions of your phone, I'd recommend the Pixel Watch 4. There's a $105 discount right now, and I love using it during workouts to track how far I ran, how many calories I burned, and how to improve my times. It's also incredibly stylish with a variety of interchangeable bands — including a metal link option that instantly makes it look more sophisticated.

I know great phones under $500 are hard to come by. While the Pixel 10a normally sits right at that threshold, Prime Day is giving this budget phone one of its best deals to date with a $100 discount that drops it to just $399. For that price, I think you'll be impressed by how well its dual cameras perform, especially with the AI features that save me so much time.

It's a great way to give them a device for their wrist without the constant distractions you'd normally face with a phone. Part tracker and part activity monitor, this smartwatch is a brilliant solution for keeping them connected.

I understand that wireless earbuds can be pricey, but the Pixel Buds A-Series proves you can still get a decent-sounding pair for a fraction of the cost. At under $49, it's the perfect, affordable way to listen to your music while on the go.
