Saatva Classic (twin): was $1,399 now $1,099 at Saatva

We've retested it three times and can say with authority Saatva Classic is the best hybrid mattress you can buy. It provides excellent pressure relief to soothe aches and pains, it's reliably cooling and is excellent at minimizing motion transfer across the surface of the bed. Zoned lumbar support relieves back pain and makes it comfortable from the very first night. In this month's Saatva mattress sale a twin is down to $1,099 (was $1,399) and a queen is $1,879 (was $1,399) — one of the biggest price drops we see outside a major sales event.

Why we love this mattress

Davies described it as "the pinnacle of sleep comfort" in her Saatva Classic mattress review. Not only does it strike the right balance of support and pressure relief, but it's one of the best cooling mattress on the market.

It comes in three firmness options, Plush, Luxury Firm and Firm, which means you can select a tension in line with your own dominate sleep position and body type. Our team tested the Luxury Firm and found it comfortable in al sleep positions.

Regardless of the firmness option you go for, you'll find the Classic mattress is supportive right to the edges. This means you can lay or sit near the sides without feeling like you're going to fall out of bed. This is particularly helpful for those with limited mobility that need a boost when getting in or out of the bed.

You also can't fault the quality of the build. Made of premium organic and natural materials, the Saatva Classic has a high quality feel that's hard to beat.

The only people we would not recommend this mattress to is co-sleepers where one or both weighs over 300lbs, as the Saatva Classic isn't designed to hold this weight. (Check out the WinkBed Plus Mattress instead.)
