When it comes to tackling household chores, having one of the best robot vacuums or robot mops can literally do all the work for you. And if you really want to relax and put your feet up, Shark has just launched a new, upgraded version of our top-rated robot vacuum cleaners — and it’s impressive.

The Shark PowerDetect ThermaCharged robot vacuum now comes with a heated mop wash and dry technology that cleans itself with thermal heat, promising a more hygienic and spotless clean. In addition, this heat feature eliminates lingering odors from dirty rollers, or unsightly wet streaks on floors.

Alongside its powerful suction, the PowerDetect ThermaCharged vacuum features a heated mop wash and dry base to ensure a more hygienic clean. It also comes with Floor and Dirt Detect, edge-to-edge cleaning to easily tackle corners and edges, lifting pet hair and debris without tangling. It is also equipped with advanced 360° LiDAR SLAM navigation, Position Sensitive Detectors (PSD) to navigate smoothly, and actively lifts over obstacles and thresholds.

Heated Mop Pad Sanitization

The Shark PowerDetect ThermaCharged robot vacuum is an upgrade of the Shark PowerDetect 2-in-1 which currently holds the number one spot on our best robot vacuums guide.

And while it has the same specs, perhaps the key difference here is its heated mop washing feature that will wash the mop with 185°F water, dries with 175°F air, and empties debris automatically. Essentially, this means the robot cleans floors with a roller that's always freshly sanitized, and its thermal heat will also banish the nasty smells that come from leaving it dirty.

What’s more, this solves my biggest problem about robot mops cleaning with the same dirty mop head, and consequently spreading the dirt and bacteria around.

Lifts over high thresholds

Another upgraded feature I like is its 'NeverStuck Charged' that allows the vacuum to actively lift over obstacles and high thresholds with ease. This is handy for households with a mixture of both hard floors, pile carpets or rugs. What's more, you'll never have to worry about anything getting stuck underneath and disrupting your cleaning sessions.

Additionally, the mop is lifted two times higher than its predecessor to ensure that no messes are dragged along your carpets.

Long lasting battery power

If you have a large home or want to do a deep clean, you'll need a reliable battery life. With its new and improved battery, the Shark PowerDetect ThermaCharged promises an incredible three hours of non-stop cleaning on a single charge.

Not only will this save you the disappointment of dying mid-way through cleaning, but alongside its faster operation, it can get the job done in half the time.

In any case, if you want a more sanitized, spotless, and of course, odor-free home, the new Shark robot vacuum will have you covered.

The Shark® PowerDetect™ ThermaCharged 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop is now available for $799 on Sharkninja.com.
