IKEA is turning 40 this year, and to mark the anniversary, it's put a huge chunk of its best-selling rugs on sale, with some of them up to $200 off.
Rugs are one of those things most people put off buying until their floor is begging for a freshen up. I know this too well. The last time I bought a rug was because my French Bulldog, Kermit, had used it for potty training far longer than I'd care to admit.
The sale is big enough that it's worth cutting through, so I've gone through the line-up and pulled out 50 picks I'd genuinely put on my own floor, from the under-$30 runners to the statement pieces that anchor a whole room.
While a rug won't transform a room on its own, it can pull everything together, making your space feel warmer, more homely, and ultimately nicer to live in.
