We're tracking the best Black Friday deals live so you don't have to. We've found mega savings on everything from Bose to Ninja to Carhartt, so it's worth checking that out if you're in the mood to shop.

Me, though? As an ex-professional barista and now professional espresso machine reviewer, I'm hunting down the best espresso machine Black Friday deals. I've found some excellent savings, such as our best budget espresso machine, De'Longhi Stilosa, for just $99 at Amazon, and our best overall espresso machine, De'Longhi La Specialista Touch, at just $699 at Amazon — that's a $300 saving.

Not all of the espresso machines on our coveted best espresso machines guide are on sale, but I'm holding out hope that deals will drop closer to the big day. I'm waiting for my favorite espresso machine — the Breville Bambino Plus — to get a big discount.

The best espresso machine Black Friday deals

I've broken down my top Black Friday espresso machine picks into three categories: for people on a budget; for espresso purists; and for people who simply want the best of the best.

The budget options

Casabrews 3700 Essential
Casabrews 3700 Essential: was $129 now $94 at Amazon
Read moreRead less

This is the most affordable machine on this list, so it's ideal for those on super-tight budgets. You can still get great espresso with this machine — I personally reviewed it and can attest to that!

I awarded the Casabrews 3700 Essential a nice 4-star rating in my review. For just $94, this is a fantastic espresso machine that would impress even coffee snobs (with just a little TLC).

Of course budget espresso machines like this don't perform like their premium cousins, but no one is asking them to. If you're a bit of a coffee nerd, you'll care about this next part: The 3700 Essential comes with a dual-walled portafilter, but you can grab Casabrews' bottomless portafilter for about $40 on Amazon.

If you're not a coffee nerd and you just want a reliable espresso machine you can make drinks with at home, then the Casabrews 3700 Essential is the perfect entry-level machine. You don't have to purge the boiler (like on other Casabrews machines), and you can make delicious espresso from the get-go. The steam wand is surprisingly powerful, too, and worked well with both dairy and plant-based milks in my testing.

For the price, you won't find a better bang-for-buck machine.

De'Longhi Stilosa
Save $50
De'Longhi Stilosa: was $149 now $99 at Amazon

While this isn't the Stilosa's lowest-price ever, considering the MSRP is $149, $99 is still an awesome $50 saving. I tested this machine back in June and still can't believe just how good it is.

The Stilosa is my go-to budget espresso machine recommendation. As soon as anyone asks me which cheap espresso machine they should get, I always, always say the Stilosa.

I was able to get barista-quality espresso with just a little finesse, and I'm sure you would, too. In my 4-star review, I said of the Stilosa, "With a bit of experimentation and dedication, there’s no reason why you can’t be pulling consistently delicious shots on the Stilosa."

Yes, you need to know what you're doing to get barista-quality shots, but that's the sacrifice with cheaper espresso machines — they need a little more babying than the $1,000+ options. Or, if you're not fussy about "perfect" espresso, then ignore me completely!

De'Longhi Classic
De'Longhi Classic: was $229.95 now $149.95 at Amazon
Read moreRead less

The De'Longhi Classic is a step up from the De'Longhi Stilosa (above), with a visual pressure gauge (it's not a manometer, though) and separate controls for each function.

The Classic is basically just a fancier Stilosa. As it has separate controls for each function — espresso, steam, etc — it's a little easier to use for complete beginners. The steam wand and stainless steel boiler are quick to heat and powerful, which means you'll be able to get barista-quality coffee in no time.

I've not reviewed this one just quite yet — but it's in the office waiting for me, and I'm so excited — but De'Longhi rarely misses. I've yet to test a De'Longhi espresso machine that disappointed me, and I'm sure the Classic will be no different.

I'd recommend the Classic for anyone who feels a little overwhelmed by all the chatter of steam dials and pressure and portafilters and just wants good coffee quickly. The best part? You only have to spend $149 right now.

For the espresso purists

Breville Infuser
Breville Infuser: was $599 now $399 at Amazon
Read moreRead less

The Breville Infuser is like a step up from the $499 Breville Bambino Plus — and at this awesome Black Friday saving, it's cheaper than the tiny Bambino Plus.

With a PID controller for optimal water temperature (and therefore better-tasting coffee), the Breville Infuser is the perfect mid-range option for the serious home barista. If you can't spend $1,000 on the top-of-the-range fancy schmancy espresso machines but you want barista-quality coffee, the Infuser is the ideal solution.

The Infuser is known for its low-pressure pre-infusion period, which soaks the coffee in hot water before ramping up the pressure and extracting the espresso. This results in a richer, more intense flavor, without bringing in any of the unwanted burned or bitter notes you might be used to from chain coffee shops.

As it doesn't have a built-in grinder, you'll need to get yourself a coffee grinder, but most espresso enthusiasts will tell you to do away with built-in grinders anyway! You should be able to grab a decent grinder for less than $200 during Black Friday week, which means you'll get the Breville Infuser + grinder for the price of just the Infuser.

The best of the best

De'Longhi La Specialista Touch
Best price
Save $300
De'Longhi La Specialista Touch : was $999 now $699 at Amazon
Read moreRead less

The De'Longhi La Specialista Touch is our best overall espresso machine, and for good reason. It has guided tamping so you don't over- or under-tamp, and is super user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners and pros alike.

In our 4.5-star review of the De'Longhi La Specialista Touch, our Homes Editor Millie said, "Using De'Longhi's 'Bean Adapt' tech, it can walk you through your initial setup to get its grinding and brewing settings aligned with your choice of beans. It makes things accessible by using the color of your beans to ascertain the roast level, and asks you to report on the tamping level to help it land on the ideal volume dose for your beans."

This means the La Specialista Touch takes most of the guesswork out of grinding your beans. It'll be able to estimate the optimal grind size. Obviously, if the espresso is over- or under-extracted, you'll be able to manually adjust the grind size, too.

There's also a cold brew mode, alongside the standard espresso fare, and the powerful steam wand has a temperature probe so you never burn your milk. We can confidently say the La Specialista Touch is the best espresso machine for most people, and at just $699, it's an utter steal.
