Hold my latte! Breville skipped Black Friday and discounted its best beginner espresso machine for Cyber Monday only — to its lowest ever price
Breville skipped Black Friday and put all its faith in Cyber Monday this year
Cyber Monday is officially (almost) here, and I've already found the best espresso machine deal on this planet. There's no competition here: I know for a fact that espresso machines don't get better (and cheaper) than this.
I know that sounds like a bold statement, but I'm an ex-barista and now a professional coffee machine reviewer, so I like to think I know what I'm talking about. And this, right here, is the best Cyber Monday espresso machine deal I've seen.
The Breville Bambino Plus is down to $399 at Amazon right now. This is its lowest ever price. If you're an espresso nerd like me, you know that Breville rarely cuts the price of its iconic beginner machine, so when you see this discount, you need to grab it fast. I doubt this deal will stick around much longer.
Oh, and let me tell you — the Breville Bambino Plus wasn't discounted for Black Friday at all, so this is a true Cyber Monday exclusive. Quick, quick, quick!
This compact little machine packs way more of a punch than appearances might let on. With a coffee snob-approved PID controller that controls the temperature of your water (therefore no burned or weak espresso), a powerful 4-hole steam wand, and customizable pre-infusion time, this is the perfect machine for cash-strapped or space-strapped coffee nerds like me.
And Breville is also giving out two free bags of coffee with every purchase — score!
There are so many reasons why the Bambino Plus is the best beginner espresso machine, but I'll just give you a few.
On top of Breville being the joint-best (with De'Longhi) home espresso machine brand, the Bambino Plus takes it one step further. The steam wand is genuinely cafe-level-powerful — trust me, I spent three-and-a-half years as a barista — and you can make barista latte art very easily.
On top of the excellent steam wand, the espresso is delectable. With a PID controller for correct brewing temperatures and a customizable pre-infusion time, this is both the perfect machine for beginner home baristas who need a little extra help and coffee addicts like me who want to experiment with their morning brew.
The size is also excellent — at just seven inches wide, it's ideal for small spaces. But don't fret! You can still fit a coffee scale and your mug on the drip tray so you can track your ratios and make perfect, consistent espresso time and time again.
As someone who's reviewed 30 coffee machines this year, please listen when I say: the Breville Bambino Plus is my favorite espresso. machine in the world. I don't give it that title lightly.
