As if the Nintendo Switch 2 wasn't expensive enough already, the games cost a lot too. I've personally been holding out for sales on pretty much every major Nintendo Switch 2 title, so I'm a bit behind on the latest releases.

But am I missing out? No. There are hundreds of Nintendo Switch games that are compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2, and there are dozens that are still worth playing even though there are shinier, newer games available. In addition, many games have gotten dual releases on both Nintendo consoles — and the Nintendo Switch versions generally cost a lot less than their Switch 2 counterparts.
