There are already tons of great Amazon Prime Day deals out there, but yesterday, there was one I was waiting for.

I love gaming on the go, and recently, I transitioned from the Razer Kishi V2 to the Backbone Pro as my preferred mobile gaming controller. But on day one of Prime Day, there was no Backbone Pro deal to be found.

Now, though, you can not only score $35 off on the Backbone Pro mobile controller, but you can score great deals on the more affordable Backbone One (Gen 2) for both USB-C and Lightning devices.

That means no matter what your budget is, you can score a great deal on a mobile controller — but you have to act fast. These deals could disappear at any minute.

Why get a Backbone controller?

If you're a gamer who is on the fence about a mobile controller, I definitely recommend grabbing one. I used to carry around my Razer Kishi V2 like a security blanket, but it had one notable shortcoming. It only worked with my phone. So if I were traveling, I'd have to pack an Xbox controller too, in case I wanted to play games on my laptop or Fire TV Stick 4K Max while traveling.

With the Backbone Pro, I don't need to do that anymore. Thanks to its wireless capabilities, I'm not only able to connect it to my phone and play Xbox games on the cloud, but I can also wirelessly connect it to my laptop for gaming there. I'm not the only one who loves this Pro feature, too. Anthony Spadafora, our Managing Editor, Security and Home Office, has also tried the Backbone Pro, and he raved about its ability to connect to a PC for wireless gaming.

If that's not important to you, though, and you just want to game on your phone, then the Backbone One is still a great controller, and right now, you can save up to $40 on it for Prime Day. These deals are exclusive to Prime subscribers, though, where applicable, we've found some deals on Backbone controllers at Best Buy as well.
