When is 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' coming to streaming? Here's our best guess
Here's when you might be able to watch sequel at home
20 years later, "The Devil Wears Prada 2" has reunited us with Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) and Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), and fans are loving it. At the time of writing, it's only been a few days since David Frankel's sequel hit theaters, but it's already raked in over $230 million worldwide, and it's reviewed pretty well, too (78% on Rotten Tomatoes).
The film brings us back to the chic offices of Runway Magazine. The industry's changed rather drastically since Andy worked under her former nemesis, and after she's laid off from her role as a journalist, she finds herself returning to the brand as a features editor to help it recover from a crisis.
If you'd prefer to wait and watch "The Devil Wears Prada 2" at home, we don't yet have a confirmed streaming date for the sequel. However, below, I've tried to guess at a potential digital release date and a potential Hulu/Disney+ release date, too.

"The Devil Wears Prada 2" hit theaters on Friday, May 1, and if you want to watch it as soon as possible, you'll need to head to your local movie theater.
The first place you'll be able to watch the sequel at home will be via Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) storefronts such as Prime Video or Apple TV. Right now, I'd guess that "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will be available to buy or rent digitally in mid or late June 2026, possibly June 16 or June 23.
That's because we typically wait somewhere between 45-65 days for digital releases, and new movies often hit PVOD streamers on Tuesday. It's also a pattern that other recent 20th Century Studios have roughly followed that pattern: "Send Help" landed on PVOD 53 days after its premiere, while "Predator: Badlands" dropped on Jan. 6, 2026 (60 days later).
If you're instead waiting to stream "The Devil Wears Prada 2" on Hulu or Disney+, I'd guess the film will drop in August or September 2026.

New 20th Century Studios movies typically come to streamers between three and four months after they drop. If we base our estimation on the wait for past releases, a 97-day wait seems likely; that's how long it took "Predator: Badlands" to come to streaming, and "Send Help" will also have taken 97 days to hit streamers once it comes to Hulu on May 7.
97 days after May 1 brings us up to Thursday, August 6, 2026, but seeing as "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is already one of the highest-grossing movies of the year, there's a chance it might take longer to come to streamers.
Of course, as I've said above, this is all only a guess; we do not have a confirmed streaming date for "The Devil Wears Prada 2" at the time of writing. As soon as we learn anything more, we'll be sure to update this page, so keep checking back.
