April is here, so swap those winter doldrums out for a super-fresh spring playlist. HBO Max has a stacked month ahead, with some seriously heavy hitters up to bat once more.
First up, "Hacks" winds down with its fifth and final season on April 9, bringing Deborah Vance and Ava back to Las Vegas after reports of Deborah’s supposed death push them into a new fight for relevance.
Then, on April 12, "Euphoria" season 3 finally arrives, picking up after a major time jump and pushing Rue into a darker, more dangerous phase of her life, far beyond the confines of high school.
Article continues belowLater in the month, "Half Man" premieres April 23. exploring the lives of two men bound like brothers whose reunion at a wedding changes everything about their relationship.
Those three titles alone make April worth paying attention to, but they're only the beginning. Keep scrolling for the full list of everything coming to HBO Max this month.
New on Max in April 2026: Top Picks
'Hacks' season 5
After false reports claim she's died, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) heads back to Las Vegas with Ava (Hannah Einbinder) at her side for the fifth and final season of "Hacks". With her legacy suddenly thrown into question, Deborah is more determined than ever to prove she still belongs at the top. With this final run of of episodes, the dynamic duo continues to sharpen their already (extremely) complicated partnership along the way. Deborah has another high-stakes battle for relevance while dragging Ava kicking and screaming with her all the way to the end.

'Euphoria' season 3
After years away, "Euphoria" returns with a major five-year time jump that pushes Rue (Zendaya) and the rest of her friend group far beyond high school. Rue is hiding out in Mexico and still trapped in the fallout of her debt to Laurie (Martha Kely), setting up a darker, more dangerous chapter. Most of the details are still under wraps, but familiar cast members are set to return, including Hunter Schafer's Jules Vaughn.

'Half Man'
Niall (Jamie Bell) and Ruben (Richard Gadd) may not be related by blood, but they’ve spent their lives bound together like brothers. One is fierce and fiercely protective, while the other is the total opposite. When Ruben shows up at Niall’s wedding decades after the pair part ways acting strangely, an unspecified violent act sends the story spiraling back through 30 years of their lives, spanning the '80s to the present.
