While celebrating St. Patrick's Day and all things Irish may be on your agenda for the month of March, there's plenty of original online programming, television seasons and episodes on tap before and after the festivities. And having the luck o' the Irish isn't required to watch.
New Shows on Netflix: March 2014
While green might be the month's signature shade, Netflix's big announcement is the June premiere of the second season of its popular original "Orange is the New Black." In the meantime, a slew of other ground-breaking originals and episodes from TV's most talked-about shows have recently been made available.
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" (Season 6) March 7
The sixth and final 13-episode season of the Emmy Award-winning series reveals some of the deepest mysteries of the conflict between the light side and the dark side. Anakin Skywalker's closest relationship is tested to its limit, while Master Yoda makes a shocking discovery that could forever change the balance of power in the galaxy.
In addition to season 6, Netflix will offer all of seasons 1 through 5, including several director's cut episodes.
"Dance Academy" (Season 3)
Things get real at the academy as Tara and other seniors compete and prepare to move beyond the confines of school and enter the real world.
"Mad Men" (Season 6) March 30
Don Draper (Jon Hamm) leads one of New York's most revered ad agencies in the early 1960s. Elisabeth Moss and January Jones also star.
"The Returned" (Season 1)
The French-Canadian TV drama centers on residents of a small rural town who try to live normal lives despite the series of strange occurrences happening around them.
New Shows on Hulu: March 2014
Hulu looks across the pond for many of its exclusive and original offerings this month.
"Line of Duty" (Season 2) March 24
In season 2 of the BBC cat-and-mouse miniseries, a new scenario ignites when a police convoy is ambushed and AC-12 anti-corruption officers discover that their most valuable witness in the case is their prime suspect. Created by Jed Mercurio, the series stars Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar.
"The Only Way is Essex" (Season 10 & 11) March 8 and March 22
The BBC show, which labels itself an innovative living soap opera, features characters who are real people living their actual lives, with its tears, tantrums and triumphs.
"Hollyoaks" March 2
Hulu is the exclusive U.S. home for one of the U.K.'s longest-running daily teen soap operas, set in the fictional suburb of Hollyoaks. The soap is known for its witty writing and fast-paced drama.
"The Bridge" March 10
The hit Scandinavian drama revolves around the wave of violence that erupts after the discovery of a brutal double murder. This show also inspired the hit U.S. series of the same name.

New Shows on Amazon Prime: March 2014
The streaming competitor is following in the footsteps of Netflix with the recent news that the third season of the Victorian detective drama "Ripper Street" will be produced exclusively through Amazon, with filming beginning in May. The series features Matthew Macfadyen and Jerome Flynn as 19th-century police fighting crime in the sordid streets of London’s East End after the Jack the Ripper murders.

In its third season, MTV's edgy series based on the 1995 film, centers on the melodramatic struggles of a high schooler who is forced to hide his werewolf identity.

New Shows on Yahoo: March 2014
Yahoo Screen offers up its share of leprechaun charm from the sardonic satire it's come to be known by. Programming includes new episodes from Yahoo's following original comedy series:
The weekly video series features stand-alone, topical comedy shorts. The short features are written and directed by and star some of the staples in the world of comedy, such as Ethan Smith, Nikki Boyer and Rachael Harris.
The comedy series follows the adventures of two best friends who work as paranormal investigators.
