Yahoo Files Suit Against 'lottery' Spammers
Yahoo said Tuesday it filed a lawsuit against "Yahoo Lottery" spammers. The Sunnyvale-based company said the spammers send out e-mail messages trying to make people believe they’ve won a lottery or prize offered by Yahoo.

I think Yahoo is smoking something. Had they visited my site when I asked them to months ago they could shut down more scammers than they could dream of. This lawsuit is never going to get anywhere anytime soon. All it is going to do in the end is drive them to countries where it's even harder to extradite and/or prosecute.

Instead of a lawsuit, maybe the feds should lock these pricks up, assuming they are in the US. At any rate, it's unlikely the lawsuit will have any effect.
