The Amazon Big Spring Sale event is still underway, and I'm finding plenty of bargains on the best running shoes out there.
For example, right now, you can shop the Asics Gel-Nimbus 27 for just $124 at Amazon. It's one of our top-rated running shoes, tested in-house by our resident runner Nick, pulling in 4 stars during review.
What you put on your feet seriously matters as a runner, especially if you're currently training for a marathon, or even if you just like to get outdoors during the warmer weather. Whether you enjoy a more cushioned ride, a high stack, or are just figuring out your style, we can help you make that all-important decision about what to put on your feet.
See which other pairs I'd recommend adding to your cart while stocks last and the Spring Sale remains live (and yes, I've consulted with our experts!)

In our Asics Gel-Cumulus 27 review, our reviewer said this is a "comfortable daily trainer with a balanced ride that will work for a wide variety of runners." Although it rated lower than the Gel-Nimbus 27, it's a slightly cheaper cushioned shoe with a lower stack and firmer ride. You can pick up the men's model for the same price, but if you want to save even more, the women's Gel-Cumulus 26 is just $87 (one iteration older) and $87 for men.

You can currently grab this popular running shoe for 25% less during the sale. Our resident runner, Nick, rated them a "comfortable cruiser" and credited them with helping "the miles fly by." You get comfortable cushioning, a smooth turnover and a stable ride despite the high stack. Check out our full Asics Gel-Nimbus 27 review for the full lowdown. Shop women's here.

Yes, you read that right. In our Asics Superblast 2 review, the shoe pulled in a whopping 4.5 stars and was rated "an instant favorite." It's cushioned but lightweight, versatile and perfect for long runs thanks to a "blend of comfort and speed," plus a high stack of bouncy midsole foam. It's a true all-rounder, but usually more expensive than other models, so this is the perfect time to grab this running shoe.

More to consider
These shoes are excellent for trail runs, with a traction pattern designed to support you on outdoor terrain. They also feature Rearfoot GEL to absorb impact and super-soft AMPLIFOAM cushioning.

The ASICS GEL-Contend 9 is a great all around shoe with a breathable upper that moves with your foot and has extra cushioning to keep things soft underfoot. It’s ideal if you’re new to running or want a budget-friendly shoe that feels supportive for workouts, easy miles or long walks.
