You read that headline correctly — I do, indeed, own 9 pairs of Skechers shoes. I've even bought my parents a few pairs over the years.
Why so many, I hear you ask. Well, I've tried a fair few brands to ease the pain of plantar fasciitis, but Skechers' Arch-Fit Arcade has provided the most relief. That's where my obsession with the brand started — I was so darn comfortable that I just kept stocking up every time there was a sale.
And that brings me to another reason why I have so many Skechers. In Australia, it's always easy to grab a great discount on Skechers shoes, especially during major sales when they become quite affordable. Amazon is typically where you'd get the best prices, although not all Skechers models are available on the online retail site.
However, I've purchased Skechers ankle boots imported from the US on Amazon AU's global store, plus designs of Arch-Fit Arcade options that aren't available on the local Skechers site. Another pair of Skechers I own looks real pretty and I've never seen it anywhere except in India where it was purchased when I was visiting the country on holiday.
My current Skechers obsession is Slip-Ins. I love how easy they are to wear, and they don't compromise on sole comfort or arch support. I own two pairs at present and have purchased two pairs for my father, another for my mother. Uh-huh, it's a family thing now.
