There's post-war hope in the air, but James isn't in celebratory mood

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed a new face (or two) in the Herriot-Alderson clan. That's because “All Creatures Great and Small" is picking up four years after the events of the previous season, with Jimmy old enough to accompany James (Nicholas Ralph) on visits — decked out with pint-sized vet’s coat and bag, of course — and Helen (Rachel Shenton) adjusting to peacetime and the arrival of Rosie.
Here's how to watch “All Creatures Great and Small" season 6 online from anywhere with a VPN — and potentially for free.

VE Day may be imminent but James isn't in celebratory mood, and it's all down to one factor: Siegfried (Samuel West). He's driving him around the bend, to the extent that James ends up summoning assistance to Darrowby in a last-ditch effort to lighten his load.
Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) returns to the Yorkshire Dales from Italy, where he'd been on Royal Army Veterinary Corps duty, but don't think that anybody's forgotten about Egypt. Mrs Hall (Anna Madeley) has also been away after the almighty scare with Edward's (Conor Deane) ship, HMS Repulse.
Corresponding with the lighter, post-war tone are some huge guest stars, including Jonathan Hyde, who played Samuel Parrish and Van Pelt in "Jumanji" and J. Bruce Ismay in "Titanic", Chris Gascoyne, who played Peter Barlow in "Coronation Street" and "Waterloo Road" stalwart Philip Martin Brown, who portrayed iconic English teacher Grantly Budgen.
