Apple discloses how much iPhone Air battery replacement and repairs will cost you

Apple updated its iPhone Repair and Service page today with pricing for out-of-warranty repairs on the iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air, which hit stores next week.
Last year, Apple bumped the repair costs up 20% from $99 to $119 for the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 versions retain that $119 price. The iPhone Air will also cost $119 to replace, while the vanilla model iPhone 17 is $99.
Overall, the repair fees have stayed the same as last year. Here's what it will cost you to make various repairs or replacements for the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro:
- Cracked screen (front only): $329
- Back glass damage: $159
- Cracked screen and back glass damage: $419
- Battery: $119
- Rear camera: $169
- Other damage: $699
The iPhone 17 Pro Max will set you back a little more for some of the repairs:
- Cracked screen (front only): $379
- Back glass damage: $159
- Cracked screen and back glass damage: $469
- Battery: $119
- Rear camera: $249
- Other damage: $799
As mentioned above, these are fees for out-of-warranty repairs. If you sign up for AppleCare+ coverage, the fees are much cheaper, ranging from $29 to $99 per incident for all variants.
A single device AppleCare+ plan costs $11.99 per month (or $119.99/year) for the iPhone 17. The Pro models and the Air cost $13.99 a month (or $139.99/year). It includes unlimited repairs, theft and loss of coverage (up to twice in 12 months) and 24/7 priority support.
