The Manchester City vs Sporting Lisbon live stream is as close as you will ever get to a formality in the Champions League. City won the away leg 5-0 and though away goals no longer count double in the event of a tie, there's really no reason to suspect Sporting could win by five today.

With that in mind, Pep Guardiola has rested a few players today. That said, the Man City manager said before the game that "We don't have many, many players — we have just 14 available," so changes would have been needed either way.

Among the absentees are Kyle Walker (suspension), Joao Cancelo (illness), Ruben Dias (injured) and Nathan Ake (injured). Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko starts, despite the situation in his home country, with John Stones and Aymeric Laporte in the center of defense.

In midfield, Kevin de Bruyne is rested, so Ilkay Gundogan and the veteran Fernandinho will team up. Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus take two of the forward places, while Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva will presumably dart around in whatever position they fancy.

Sporting also have selection problems. Matheus Nunes is suspended and both Joao Palhinha and Pedro Goncalves miss out due to injury.

Here's how they line up:

Manchester City: Ederson, Egan-Riley, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Fernandinho (C), Gundogan, Bernardo, Sterling, Foden, Jesus

Sporting Lisbon: Adán; Inácio, Coates, Luís Neto; Pedro Porro, Ugarte, Matheus Reis, Tabata; Sarabia, Slimani, Paulinho

No team has ever turned around a five-goal deficit in the Champions League and it would be a monumental surprise if Sporting managed it here. The real question is probably how many Man City will win by. You can find out by watching the Manchester City vs Sporting Lisbon live stream, which we'll show you how to do below.
