Always dreamed of unwrapping a KitchenAid stand mixer on Christmas morning? Well, call me one of Santa's elves as I'm here with good news — right now, the price of the KitchenAid Classic, in white, has been slashed by 30%. And it can be delivered to your doorstep before Santa gets there.

Now $280, this model boasts a 4.5-quart stainless steel bowl, and it comes with two accessories included for this price. Usually $399.99, this is one of the lowest prices we've seen for this model, outside of Black Friday.

With a compact footprint so it can live on your countertop, this KitchenAid stand mixer comes with a dough hook, a coated flat beater, and a 6-wire whip. Its design means its head tilts for easy adding of ingredients, too. It might be basic, but it will definitely do the job.

What to make over the holidays with your new stand mixer?

I currently own a stand mixer, which is sitting comfortably inside my pantry due to a lack of countertop space. I'll be dusting it off come next week, though, and here's what I am planning on using it to make for the Holidays.

First up, I always make a focaccia bread (or two!) over the holidays. Mostly sundried tomato, but sometimes I switch up the recipe. Using a dough hook makes kneading the dough super easy, while I pop it into my Le Creuset Dutch Oven for cooking. Served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, it's a great snack to put out for guests while they're drinking and catching up.

Next up, a pavlova Christmas wreath — I spotted this on TikTok and immediately saved the recipe. I'll be making use of the beater to whip my egg whites to perfection. Once baked, these are topped with cream and berries.

Last but not least, the whisk attachment will definitely come in handy when I am making the icing for my fruit cake.
