I’m a huge fan of IKEA, and I’ve spent many hours in my local store browsing for furniture and homewares. From bedroom furniture to shoe storage, and crockery, you’ll spot a fair few items in my home.
As a home writer, I always keep an eye out for a good deal, so I can recommend a bargain when I see one. And right now, I’d recommend IKEA’s IDANÄS 6-drawer dresser, which offers a whole lot of storage space. What’s more, it’s now reduced by 20% to $399.
This elegant 6-drawer dresser comes in a white acrylic paint finish. It measures 63 3/4 (W) x 19 5/8 (D) x 37 3/8 (H) inches, with a storage capacity of 8.1 cu.ft. The spacious drawers close quietly thanks to the integrated soft-closing function and the unit has a safety feature to prevent 'tip-over'. This dresser comes in three packs and is easy to assemble.
About the IKEA IDANÄS 6-drawer dresser
This 6-drawer dresser is in IKEA’s IDANÄS series combines timeless design with modern functionality. The white colorway ensures it complements all interior schemes. Rather than being stacked on top of one another, the six drawers are split into two sections, and the storage is raised from the ground on elegant legs.
To keep everything secure, the dresser has a drawer interlock system, which means only one drawer can be opened at a time. This reduces the risk of the dresser tipping over, and is a plus if you have young children. It also comes with anchors to secure it to a wall.
Why I’d recommend IKEA IDANÄS 6-drawer dresser
There’s a lot to love about this dresser, especially its versatility. It’s suitable to be used in hallways, living rooms and bedrooms, and the wide top makes it perfect to house a whole host of items.
What’s more, I appreciate the elegant design, with its bevelled details and contrasting drawer knobs. And it would sit beautifully in either a period home or a contemporary apartment. With a $100 discount, I think it’s well worth putting this set of drawers in your shopping basket.
