I gave the Dyson Airwrap i.d. 5 stars in my review — and it's $210 off for Prime Day

There are very few hair tools that genuinely live up to the hype. The Dyson Airwrap i.d. is one of them, and right now, it's 30% off for Prime Day, bringing it down from $709 to $499. If you've been on the fence, this is the moment.

The Airwrap i.d. is a 6-in-1 multi-styler that curls, waves, smooths, volumizes, dries, and detangles, all without exceeding the heat threshold at which hair damage occurs. Dyson's technology measures temperature 40 times per second to stay below 302°F, which sounds like marketing BS until you actually use it.

Here's what sets it apart from everything else. (For more personal recommendations, check out our Savings Squad summer sale live blog where we're covering all of this week's top sales).

Dyson Airwrap i.d. Bundle
Dyson Airwrap i.d. Bundle: was $709 now $499 at Amazon

The Airwrap i.d. is Bluetooth connected and pairs with the MyDyson app to create a personalised styling routine based on your hair type, length, and goals. Six attachments are included in the box: a conical barrel, fast dryer, anti-snag loop brush, large round volumising brush, and two more depending on your hair type, covering everything from defined curls to a smooth blowout finish. The Chitosan Post-Style Serum is also included in this Amazon-exclusive bundle.

I tested the Curly + Coily version, which shares the same unit as this one with just a slightly different attachment lineup, and came away genuinely converted. I gave it a rare five stars, and the verdict was simple: the hype is real.

The heat control is the best I've experienced on any styling tool, the build quality is premium throughout, and the magnetic attachments click in and out with a satisfying precision that makes switching mid-session feel completely effortless.

This Amazon-exclusive bundle is the sweetest deal in the lineup, it pairs the Airwrap i.d. with Dyson's Chitosan Post-Style Serum, which locks in your finished style with flexible all-day hold.

At $499, it's obviously still a serious investment. But as I put it in my review: it's "the kind of investment that reframes how you think about it. Less an impulse buy, more a decision you make once and don't revisit."
