5 IKEA items I'd pick up for my bathroom — and they're all under $10
I upgraded my bathroom with these cheap IKEA finds
My bathroom is by far one of the smallest spaces in our home, so I’m always seeking storage hacks to maximize the space without sacrificing style. Which is why IKEA tends to be my go-to place for solving all my small-space woes and instantly giving it a fresh makeover.
In fact, I just discovered these quick and easy upgrades to spruce up my tiny bathroom. Not only do these help to keep everything in its place, but they have freed up valuable room space — all while looking more stylish, too. This is also a great way to upgrade your home for the new year on a budget.
So if you don’t want to break the bank (or spend on expensive renovations), here are my top IKEA bathroom picks — for all under $10.
My budget IKEA picks
Since I don't have much space for hanging things up, my son often has a cluttered pile of clothes on the floor. These self-adhesive hooks have been super handy. Simply peel-and-stick onto tiles or walls, and it’s sturdy enough for smaller items such as washcloths. With its chrome design, it looks chic and suitable for any bathroom style. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about drilling holes in walls, and they won’t leave any damage, which is perfect for renters.
Similarly, my bathroom is too small for a waste bin to fit anywhere on the floor, so this option is a great space-saver. This can either be placed freestanding or hung on the wall with self-adhesive tape. I also like the fact that it comes with a lid, making it more hygienic, and it’s also removable for easy cleaning. Plus, you can use this anywhere in the home.
It may not be the most exciting thing you'd want to replace, but if you’re looking to upgrade your toilet roll holder, this chrome-plated design will do the trick. You can opt for using screw or adhesive mounting, and you can also buy matching accessories. Not only does it add instant style to your bathroom, but it looks more expensive than its $5 price tag.
If you wanted to save your bathroom wall or tiles from damage, this drill-free towel rack is easy to install in seconds. It comes with tight-grip suction cups that are sturdy enough to stick on glass or tiles. So whether you want to hang up hand towels or allocate them for children’s towels, this is an ideal choice — and a bargain buy too.
One decor gripe I have is when plastic bottles or packaging turn into clutter in my bathroom. This glass soap dispenser is ideal for decanting handwash or favorite products, without unsightly plastic bottles. Its stylish design comes with a brass pump to add a touch of glam to your bathroom sink, and it will make it look like a luxe hotel bathroom.
