This Nintendo Switch 2 popped up on Cyber Monday, and I’m genuinely shocked that it’s still available. Don’t wait around for this one — grab the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle for $449 at Walmart ASAP.

Remember the Nintendo Direct live chat during the Switch 2 launch, when viewers chanted “drop the price”? Walmart has finally done just that, and if you’ve held out on getting the console until now, I wouldn’t recommend waiting any longer.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has built up a nice library over the past few months with Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Legends Z-A providing a trifecta of (near) gaming perfection. And there are a bunch more great titles on the way, too, like Metroid Prime 4 Beyond.

I’ve had my Nintendo Switch since 2018 and got a Nintendo Switch 2 in August this year. Everything about Nintendo’s new console feels like a proper upgrade, from the gorgeous new display to its enhanced performance. The only downside is the mediocre battery life (between 2-6.5 hours,) but at least the hybrid nature of this console means you can plug it in and continue playing on the TV when the battery gets low.

Towards the end of its life, my Nintendo Switch struggled to run games that didn’t seem graphically intense — I was puzzled when Hello Kitty Island Adventure, a game that’s also playable on iPhones via Apple Arcade, didn’t run lag-free. But all my favorite Switch games feel so much better on the Nintendo Switch 2 than they did before; the investment I made was definitely worth it.

Thanks to this Walmart deal, you’re getting a copy of Mario Kart World basically for free. That’s awesome because it’s a game you’re bound to get dozens of hours of playtime out of. Personally, I’ve been most addicted to playing the new Knockout Tour mode — the unpredictability of each race has kept me coming back over and over again.
