The holiday season is in full swing, and we're on the verge of a brand new year. That means brand new shows and movies to watch, too. December 2025 brings tons of new content to Disney Plus, from animated family favorites to a global music phenomenon.
Kicking things off is "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw." Greg Heffley returns for another hilarious family misadventure, but this time, he’s facing an ultimatum from his dad that pressures him to toughen up and leave his wimpy ways behind for good. Then, the stakes get mythical in Season 2 of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians." Percy sets off on his own odyssey into the Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece, joined by his new half-brother Tyson, to save Camp Half-Blood from destruction.

'Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw'
Greg Heffley returns for his next animated misadventure, adapted from the third installment of Jeff Kinney’s bestselling "Wimpy Kid" book series. This time, the stick-figure middle schooler finds himself in a battle of wills against his dad's (Chris Diamantopoulos) expectations to toughen him up. Greg isn't exactly "tough," so that leads to hilarious mishaps that push dad to the breaking point. He presents Greg with a final ultimatum that challenges his "wimpy" ways for good.

'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' season 2
After Camp Half-Blood’s border is breached, Percy Jackson returns for an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters. He's on the hunt for his best friend, Grover, and plans to retrieve the legendary Golden Fleece, the only thing that can save the camp from destruction.
It’s not a solo trip this time, though. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse, and newfound Cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke and the Titan Kronos.

It features never-before-seen insights from performers and friends like Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch, as well as Swift's inner circle and (you guessed it) Travis Kelce. And if you're a Swiftie or just love peeks behind the curtain, it might be just as good as being there.
