Everything new on Apple TV in June 2026
Summer TV season is here, and with the heat rising, Apple TV is giving us the perfect excuse to stay inside with the AC on full blast. The lineup for June 2026 is small but buzzy, with two high-profile releases arriving just in time for long weekends and late-night binges.
First up is "Cape Fear," a new series take on the classic thriller that already terrified audiences in both the original film and Martin Scorsese's remake. Expanding the story into a full series means even more paranoia and tension.
Then there’s season 2 of "Sugar," which returns with more noir mystery, alien weirdness and Colin Farrell giving cool guy energy. If you’re looking for your next watchlist additions, here's everything new on Apple TV in June 2026.
'Cape Fear'
This series adaptation of "Cape Fear" takes the 1991 classic by Martin Scorsese and drags it into doomscroll era with gaslightin, AI fakes and public shaming. Javier Bardem inherits the Robert De Niro role as Max Cady, a newly freed ex-con who decides the married lawyers who put him away owe him far more than an apology. Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson play the increasingly rattled Bowdens, stuck watching everyone around them fall for a man they know is dangerous.

'Sugar' season 2
After spending season 1 masquerading as a stylish neo-noir detective series before detonating into full-on sci-fi weirdness, “Sugar” returns with Colin Farrell back in trench-coat mode as Los Angeles private eye John Sugar. This time, he’s investigating the disappearance of a troubled boxer’s older brother while continuing the search for his own missing sister, all against the backdrop of a sprawling conspiracy that may be bigger than Earth itself.
