I can’t believe this MacBook Air M4 Prime Day deal — $200 off and goodbye, Windows

The M4 MacBook Air is easily one of the best laptops you can buy right now — slim, svelte, packed with power and battery life. It's so good, in fact, that it may make you think twice about sticking with Windows.
Even better? The Air is cheaper than ever. Right now, you can get $200 off the 13-inch MacBook Air M4 and even $220 off the 15-inch Air. But be quick, as Prime Day is almost done!
Personal pick: The latest 13-inch MacBook Air M4 is one of the best laptops you can buy, and now you can get one for $200 off! The Apple M4 chip gives it remarkable speed and battery life, and the 13" Liquid Retina display looks gorgeous. Expect 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD in the base model, but if you want more memory and storage you can get a similar discount on upgraded versions as well:
MacBook Air 13" M4 (16GB/512GB): was $1,199 now $999
MacBook Air 13" M4 (24GB/512GB): was $1,399 now $1,199
If you like the Air M4 but want a bigger screen, the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air is also on sale and boasts a 15.3-inch (2880 x 1864) Liquid Retina display with the same great internals. If you want more RAM or storage, you can also get upgraded models at a discount:
MacBook Air 15" M4 (16GB/512GB): was $1,399 now $1,199
MacBook Air 15" M4 (24GB/512GB): was $1,599 now $1,399
After using it long-term, just like Tony said in his three-month review, this is clearly a phenomenal everyday laptop. And it comes down to the three key things that make a notebook great:
- Portability
- Performance
- Battery life
The aluminum unibody shell makes this a premium, durable machine to throw in your backpack, and with its skinny dimensions (the 13-inch only weights 2.7 pounds), it's lovely to hold. But none of this comes in the way of the experience — thanks to that stellar ergonomic keyboard and haptic touchpad, along with the gorgeous Liquid Retina display up top.
Then comes performance — M4 has been a marvel for this round of MacBooks, and especially shines in the Air. What used to be a system that was good mostly for casual productivity with some pro tasks on the side is now capable of some mighty things. Whether it's 4K video edits or even AAA gaming, this can now handle it, and still do so while being whisper quiet without a fan.
And finally, the battery life. With up to 18 hours in our own testing, this is a true stamina kind — something you already expected when it comes to Apple silicon, but still feels mightily impressive in something so slim.
If you've been anxious about the Windows 10 end of life coming down the line, this is one of the strongest contenders to upgrade to!
