The Black Friday sales start earlier every year, and if you’re planning to shop for a new set of running shoes when discounts do begin to pop, you don’t need to wait any longer.

I test running shoes for a living and I’m always keeping tabs on the discounts available at top brands, and right now there are excellent sneakers on sale from all of them.

I’ve picked out five great deals to shop below, with my favorite deal being the $39 saving available on the Brooks Ghost 16 Weatherized, which is now $111 at REI. As we head into the colder months, it really pays to have a water-resistant running shoe in your wardrobe.
