Stop making average pizza! 7 Prime Day pizza oven deals I'm excited about
Get cooking with great discounts on Ooni and Gozney pizza ovens
The Prime Day deals are here, and it got me thinking about whether there were any deals on pizza ovens (spoiler alert: there are).
I can't believe I used to live without a pizza oven. Looking back on it, pizza-oven-less life sucked (even though I didn't know it at the time). These days, with my trusty Ooni Karu 2 — which is currently reduced by $90 at Amazon — I cook restaurant-quality pizza whenever I want. So, uh, a few times a week. And it costs me a fraction of the price of buying takeout. Better yet, as an ex-chef, I love making my dough, sauce and doing the actual cooking. Honestly, life with a pizza oven is just the best.
Anyway, I've been keeping an eye on pizza oven deals this Prime Day. I'll be upfront: there are some really bad deals out there right now — some ovens that might look reduced, but actually had their prices inflated a few weeks back to dupe you (that's right, Gozney Arc XL and Ninja Woodfire, I'm looking at you guys).
Luckily, there are also some genuinely excellent deals to be had, like a whopping $190 off this indoor Big Horn pizza oven. I've rounded up only the good ones here, which I think offer strong value for money. So, if you're in the market for a pizza oven (which you should be), now is the time. I've also included some pizza oven alternatives, so anyone on a tight budget can still improve their pizzas at home. Buon appetito!

Tasty Prime Day pizza oven deals
Ooni's entry-level pizza oven can make 12-inch pizzas and is super versatile, as it can use wood, charcoal or gas (with an adapter). This is everything you need to get started!

This is my pizza oven! It's an updated Karu 12, with a glass panel door, but the same multi-fuel functionality. The 12-inch model is at its joint lowest price ever, so this is a good deal. The 16-inch model is also reduced (from $849 to $679) and is a fairly good price, but we've seen it go lower before, so I would hold off on that model and stick to the 12-inch.

This is a solid deal! The Ooni Koda 16 gas-fired pizza oven was a star performer in our testing, earning a full five stars! It's dropped slightly lower to $479 before, but only once, so this is a very good price. It tends to hover around $599 (not $649 as Amazon would have you believe), but doesn't tend to drop in price much at all. Get it while it's hot!

This is the pizza oven I want. I go camping a lot in the summer months and would love a portable gas-fired pizza oven like the Tread. If you know anything about Gozney, you know it makes excellent ovens. The Tread has dropped to $399 a couple of times before, including around Black Friday 2025, but it tends to sit at $499 most of the time, so now is a good time to grab this oven.

The Gozney Roccbox is very much like an Ooni Karu 12 or Karu 2, and can cook 12-inch pizzas using either wood or gas. Personally, I'd save a little and go for the Karu 2 or 12, as they're a smidge more versatile, but this is still a solid oven at its lowest ever price.

This deal only just makes it in. The Arc is currently $100 off. Now, we've seen it go lower, to $599 last summer, but it does usually sit at the full $699. That means this deal is still legit, and while it's not the cheapest ever, $100 is a decent chunk off the MSRP.

Although it lacks the premium look of Ooni and Gozney ovens, the Big Horn multi-fuel oven could be a decent budget alternative. It can run on wood pellets, gas or electricity and has a 12-inch stone. We've seen it drop as low as $106 before, which it isn't a million miles away from now. It usually sits at around the $149 mark, though, so this is a decent deal.

Indoor pizza ovens are super handy! It sounds obvious, but being able to cook come rain or shine is a major benefit. The Big Horn 14-inch indoor oven is currently a huge $190 off, and at its lowest ever price.

Pizza oven alternatives
If you can't stretch to a pizza oven, check out a pizza steel instead. These are literally just sheets of steel (so I'd advise against spending huge money on one) that get hot enough to properly cook the base of your pizza in your conventional kitchen oven. That won't help you much with cooking the top, but steels are better than nothing.

Just like a pizza steel, a pizza stone helps you get better results in your typical kitchen oven. Stones are what all the pizza ovens above use. They're cheaper than steel but don't conduct heat as well, so you won't get as crispy a base as with steel (in a normal oven).
