PlayStation launches early Black Friday sale with PS5 games from $2 — here’s 12 deals I’d buy right now
Don't wait till Black Friday to score savings on must-play PS5 games
Black Friday deals are on the horizon, but PlayStation Store is waiting until post-Thanksgiving to tempt PS5 owners to pick up some new games for the holiday. The digital storefront just launched its annual November Savings sale, and some of the best PS5 games you can play are discounted now.
There are 2,450 individual discounts in this sale, and some of my top picks include the sprawling Cyberpunk 2077 for $22 (was $49), and the content-stuffed Monster Hunter Wilds dropping to a lowest price of $48. Plus, the complete edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is $69, which is a solid price for the base game and the recently released DLC.
Meanwhile, Amazon isn't being out-discounted without a fight and has launched its own PS5 game deals. So, I've rounded up the best savings on the online mega-retailer down below as well. And don't forget to check back often, as even more deals will go live as we approach Black Friday weekend.

Atlus's Persona series has a strong pedigree, and this full-fledged remake brings the Persona 3 story to the current console generation so franchise veterans and newcomers can experience it. Part social sim and part JRPG, Persona 3 Reload updates the visuals and incorporates many quality-of-life improvements and new elements, bringing the original tale up to date and making this another must-play RPG.

Pitched as a return to the franchise's roots, Assassin's Creed Mirage ditches the RPG bloat of the most recent AC games in the form of a smaller, more focused experience. You play Basim, a petty thief turned master assassin in 9th-century Baghdad. With a vibrant city to explore and a list of targets to eliminate, Assassin's Creed Mirage is exactly what the series needed after the overwhelming bloat of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

This formerly timed PS5 and PC exclusive is one of the most curious and charming indie games to surface this generation. Its premise is also utterly weird. You play as a helpful cat who falls into an underground dystopian city and then spends the next 5 hours helping its resident robots with their problems. Gorgeous, unique, and a truly one-of-a-kind experience, Stray is a must-play for cat lovers.

Once considered among the biggest disappointments in gaming history after a very rocky launch, No Man's Sky is now the ultimate redemption story. Packing more than eight years' worth of free content updates, this sci-fi adventure has become an instant recommendation for wannabe sci-fi explorers. Travel to distant galaxies, discover new lifeforms and trade, fight and survive in an infinite universe. And it's still being updated with new content in 2025, with no signs of stopping.

Following this year's dramatic Ryder Cup tournament, now is the perfect time to step out onto the links and prove yourself a golfing whiz, at least in the virtual world. PGA Tour 2K25 is the latest entry in the annual sports sim series, and boasts the level of authenticity you'd expect from a 2K game.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the game the PS5 was born to play. In this stylish intergalactic adventure, you’ll take control of seasoned heroes Ratchet and Clank — as well as their distaff counterparts, Rivet and Kit. With 10 huge planets to explore, tons of weapons to customize and upgrade, a variety of enemies to fight and plenty of puzzles to solve, Rift Apart is an absolute joy from start to finish.

Demon's Souls was one of the first games on PS5, and it's still one of the best, almost five years later. In this ultra-difficult action/RPG, you'll create a character and set out to conquer the deadly dungeons and towering bosses of Boletaria. You may have already played this game on the PS3, but the remake is much smoother, and it's even been further enhanced to take advantage of PS5 Pro.

The Last of Us Part 2 didn't exactly need Remastered (the PS4 original was more than sufficient), but one of the best sequels in gaming history getting a thin, but appreciated, fresh coat of paint is no bad thing. In this action epic, you play as both Ellie and Abby as their harrowing stories intertwine across the rain-swept city of Seattle, Washington. Prepare yourself for a brutal journey.

We're in a golden age of horror remakes, and Silent Hill 2 is among the very best. This stunning new take on the survival-horror classic sees you step into the fog-blanketed town as James Sunderland, a man on the hunt for his missing wife. Tense and atmospheric, it's fantastic.

If the full-price release of The Last Of Us Part I put you off the idea of retracing Ellie and Joel's steps in this gorgeous remake of one of PlayStation's most well-known titles, now's your chance to pick it up cheaper. The remake features improved visuals, new animation work and more tactical, more aggressive enemies, making exploring the post-apocalyptic USA all the more stressful, and all the more engaging.

The latest RPG from the publisher behind the famous Persona series, this is one of the least well-known entries on the list, yet is fully deserving of its nomination. We gave the game a 4.5 star rating in our Metaphor: ReFantazio review, and praised the game for both its quality of life improvements over other Atlus RPGs, as well as the more mature story — don't let the anime visuals fool you.

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is a vast RPG sequel that sees you once again step into the boots of Henry, a young nobleman on a quest for revenge in medieval Bohemia. Designed to be as immersive as possible, the world reacts to your actions, and most quests can be completed in a myriad of ways. Its more restrictive elements may be off-putting to some players, but if you're looking for a sprawling quest that gives you plenty of freedom, few do it better than KCDII.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater gives one of the most celebrated and influential games of all time a stunning graphical makeover. The bones of the original classic are retained (thank goodness), but the visuals have never looked more impressive. It's a must-play whether you're a MGS veteran or a newcomer enjoying Big Boss's journey for the very first time.

Pairing together the Elden Ring game and its essential expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, this package is the best way to experience From Software's Game of the Year-winning RPG. Set in a vast land full of intimidating foes, you can expect tough boss battles, but a sense of satisfaction that few PS5 games can match.
