Amazon's October Prime Day sales are almost over, and if you're a gamer, it's been a good one. There have been plenty of Prime Day deals on consoles and games, and (of course) plenty of deals on wireless controllers. But the hottest controller deal I've seen this Prime Day might just be the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C wireless controller for 35% off.

It's not hard to see why this deal is popular. Right now, you can get the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C for just $19 at Amazon, and you can use it to play games on Windows PCs and Android phones. Granted, you can also do that with other controllers, like the Backbone Pro controller (also on sale for Prime Day), but that controller costs over $130 on sale. The Ultimate 2C is less than 20 bucks.

8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless: was $29 now $19 at Amazon

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is a great wireless controller, especially now that it's less than $20. It's loaded with features like Hall Effect thumbsticks and triggers, a 1,000Hz polling rate to reduce latency and you can do custom button mapping without using software. Plus, it comes in a bunch of cute colors, which is always a plus.
Platforms: Windows, Android

Don't get me wrong, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C isn't going to make the list of our best PC game controllers, but members of the Tom's Guide team do love 8BitDo. Our former U.K. Computing Editor and current freelance contributor Dave Meikleham picked the 8BitDo Ultimate, an upgraded version of the Ultimate 2C, as one of his favorite gaming controllers.

But again, none of those controllers is less than $20. Once you get to that price, the 8BitDo Ultimate is pretty much impossible to beat, especially with features like Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, extra R4/L4 bumpers and custom button mapping without needing additional software. Plus, you can switch between Windows (wired or a 2.4Ghz wireless USB dongle) and Android (Bluetooth wireless) gaming with just the touch of a button.

If you think this deal is too good to pass up, I don't blame you. But you'll have to act fast — it's gone at the end of today (Oct. 8).
