This is the cheapest way to stream every World Cup match in 2026 — but there's a catch
Time to break out Duolingo
World Cup 2026 is mere days away, and if you're scrambling to find a way to stream all 104 matches, you're not alone. There are quite a few ways to watch every game of this year's tournament, from a few of the best streaming services and most of the best live TV streaming services.
But if you want the cheapest way to stream every World Cup match in 2026, there's a clear answer: Peacock. NBCUniversal's streaming service is showing every game, all for just $10.99 a month. However, there is a notable catch ...
You'll need to learn Spanish.
Or, more accurately, you'll at least have to tolerate a Spanish-language broadcast. That's because Peacock has the U.S. rights only to the Spanish-language broadcasts. Also, 92 of the games will be shown on Telemundo, while the other 12 matches will be shown on Universo. But all of them will stream on Peacock.
Peacock Premium: $10.99 a month
Peacock gives you access to thousands of hours of entertainment, including hit series, blockbuster movies, live sports and exclusive originals. Plus, it gives you Spanish-language broadcasts of all 104 World Cup 2026 matches, in 4K. It's the cheapest way to stream every game.
Now, all that said, if you only care about watching all the goals and listening is secondary, Peacock Premium is by far the cheapest option. Some matches will be available for free on networks over the air using the best antennas, but others are exclusive to cable and other over-the-top TV providers (DirecTV, YouTube TV, etc.).
The cheapest option among these is Fox One, which starts at $19.99 with a free three-day trial. For those who want a true cable alternative, YouTube TV offers a 21-day free trial, but that won't get you through the 38-day tournament. You'll be stuck paying $67.99 for the remaining 17 days of the tournament. Not cheap.
Now, if you really want to save some money, you can sign up for Walmart+. Right now, you can try Walmart+ for 30 days for just $1. You can get Peacock for free as a perk with the subscription. Once your 30-day trial is up, cancel it, then sign up for Peacock Premium for $10.99 to get through the final eight days of the tournament. Or, pay just $4 more and get Apple TV bundled with your subscription, giving you access to tons of great original movies and shows to watch when there's no World Cup action going on.
Walmart Plus costs $12.95 a month normally (or save 37% with an annual subscription, which costs $98). But right now, you can get it for 30 days for just $1. With your subscription, you'll have the ability to choose a complimentary Paramount+ or Peacock Premium subscription. Choose Peacock, and you'll get access to all 104 games of World Cup 2026 (in Spanish).
If you do opt for Peacock, the broadcast will be of the highest quality. All Peacock World Cup 2026 matches will be streamed in 4K and 1080p, in Dolby Vision HDR with Dolby Atmos sound.
So aside from having to listen in what might not be your native tongue, there are no other compromises you'll need to make when watching with your Peacock Premium subscription.
Not ready to learn Spanish? Here's how to stream U.S. broadcasts of World Cup 2026 in 4K in English
If you're not ready to break out Duolingo, all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be aired in English by Fox in 4K. Fox (the broadcast network) will air 70 such games, with cable network FS1 airing the other 34 games.
The cheapest way to get all of these games in English? Fox One, which will show every single game from Fox and FS1. Plans start at $19.99 a month, and new subscribers can take advantage of a three-day free trial.
For those of you who are abroad and want to use your streaming subscription, be it Peacock Premium, Fox One or YouTube TV, you'll need a VPN.
