Paramount Plus had a great Black Friday last year, and this year it's back as one of the best Black Friday streaming deals you can get in 2025. It couldn't come at a better time either. Paramount Plus is already planning a price hike for 2026, and "Landman" is only two episodes deep into season 2, so you still have time to catch up. Oh, and did I mention "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" is coming to Paramount Plus on Dec. 4? Simply put, there's never been a better time to sign up for one of the best streaming deals I've seen all year.

Right now, you can get Paramount Plus Essential or Paramount Plus Premium for just $2.99 per month for your first two months. Yes, you're reading that correctly. You can get the Premium plan for the same price as the Essential plan, giving you a whole host of additional shows and movies for the same low price.

Paramount Plus Premium
$2.99 a month for two months!
Paramount Plus Premium: was $12.99 now $2.99 at Paramount+

Paramount Plus Premium gives you everything in the Essential Plan, plus a few extras. You get Showtime shows and movies, a livestream of your local CBS channel and you get to ditch ads (excluding live programming). Normally, these might not be worth spending nearly twice as much, but when it's the same price as the Essential plan, why not check out everything Paramount Plus has to offer?

Paramount Plus Essential
$2.99 a month for two months!

The Paramount Plus Essential Plan offers most of what Paramount Plus has to offer. You get a wide range of movies, TV shows, live sports and more, including the hit series "Landman" and the latest Mission: Impossible movie: "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning." There are some drawbacks; you don't get Showtime content, and you have to suffer through ads. But for most people, it's the plan to get, and at just $2.99, it's budget-friendly

In our Paramount Plus review, we praised the streaming service for its mix of content. You get hit shows and movies produced by the legendary Hollywood studio, including a decent amount of "Star Trek" shows and movies. You also get some binge-worthy originals, including "Landman" and "Yellowstone" spinoffs, "1883" and "1923."

Starting Dec. 4, you'll also get to stream "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning," the latest (and possibly last) movie in the Mission: Impossible franchise. Combine that with "Top Gun: Maverick," and you could argue Paramount Plus is a must-have for those who love a Tom Cruise action movie.

But the perks of Paramount Plus don't end there. There's also a fair amount of live sports, including the NFL and UEFA Champions League. If you opt for the Premium plan, you also get Showtime's library of shows and movies, and a livestream of your local CBS station.

There are a few things to bear in mind before signing up. First, if you take advantage of this Black Friday deal, you forgo trying Paramount Plus for free. Currently, the Paramount Plus seven-day free trial is only available with Paramount Plus annual plans.

Second, if you prefer to go with Paramount Plus Essential instead of the Premium plan, you may want to check out Walmart Plus's Black Friday deal first. Currently, this Amazon Prime-like shopping subscription gives you access to Paramount Plus or Peacock Premium, in addition to Walmart perks like free delivery on prescriptions, groceries and more.

Walmart Plus
Walmart Plus: was $98 now $49 at Walmart

Walmart Plus normally costs $12.95/month or $98/year with an annual subscription. But right now, you can get it for just $49 ahead of Black Friday. Walmart Plus offers benefits like free same-day delivery on groceries, free shipping, deeper gas discounts, and, of course, a free Peacock Premium or Paramount Plus Essential subscription. You can also try Walmart Plus free for 30 days, but you'll then have to pay full price once your trial is over.

Regardless of what you do, if you already subscribe to Paramount Plus or any of the best streaming services out there, you might want to cancel all your streaming services for Black Friday. Most Black Friday streaming deals are for new or returning customers, rather than existing ones, so canceling for even a day could save you some serious cash.
