Paramount+ is constantly adding new shows to binge-watch. This weekend is no exception. The streaming service releases new episodes of hit shows every week. Sometimes, even entire seasons at once. It added 70 new movies and shows on July 1 alone. It even has some live sporting events, including all major events from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
This weekend, I've got a season premiere, a series finale and one live event worth watching. First up is "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" season 4, which just dropped its premiere on Paramount+ yesterday. Once you've watched that, make sure to check out the finale of "The Chi" season 8, which is also the final episode for the beloved series. Finally, on Saturday, tune in at 8 p.m. ET for "UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs. Guskov."

'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' season 4 premiere
Genre: Science fiction series
What's it about? "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" stars Anson Mount as Christopher Pike, captain of the USS Enterprise. He's joined by familiar names Spock (Ethan Peck), Number One (Rebecca Romijn), Montgomery Scott (Martin Quinn) and several others who have appeared in previous "Star Trek" movies and shows.
Why you should watch it: Season 4 will cover the fourth year of the Enterprise's five-year mission, and it's been a largely well-received show through its first three seasons. Season 3 was less well-received than the previous two, but with just seasons 4 and 5 to go, this is the perfect time for you to start watching.

'The Chi' season 8
Genre: Drama series
What's it about? "The Chi" is arguably to Chicago what "The Wire" is to Baltimore, at least in terms of how it explores life in the city. Created by Lena Waithe, it centers around a large ensemble cast in the Southside of Chicago. In this final season, a murder has rocked some of our cast, while others are struggling with everything from the prison system to the trials and tribulations of parenting.
Why you should watch it: If you need a series to binge, "The Chi" has you covered with 88 episodes to stream right now. Not all seasons are created equal, but more than a few are genuinely great. The one catch is that, unlike "The Agency," this former Showtime series still requires Paramount+ Premium to watch it.

Genre: Live sporting event
What's it about? This week's edition of "UFC Fight Night" was supposed to be a light heavyweight bout between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev and Khalil Rountree Jr. But Rountree had to withdraw due to injury and was replaced by Bogdan Guskov.
Why you should watch it: You can't binge a live sports event. But getting sports like the UFC is a major reason for having Paramount+. If Guskov can win, it will be a massive upset, so don't miss it.
