One of the major reasons Netflix has remained one of the best streaming services on the market is that it's always bringing us new shows and movies to stream. More choice might mean there's something for everyone on Netflix, but it can also mean the process of deciding what to watch next is a real nightmare.

If you're trying to avoid endlessly scrolling through genres and categories, you can turn to the Netflix top 10 shows list for some quick picks. But as you can't always guarantee that what's trending will be worth streaming, we keep a close eye on Netflix's charts and single out just a handful of top choices that are most worth your time.

'Adolescence'

Following its success at the 2025 Emmys, Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne's family drama (and Netflix's No. 2 most-watched show of all time) has returned to the streamer's charts. And if you didn't get caught up in all the hype when the four-part drama dropped earlier in the year, now's the perfect time to revisit it (it's sure to be among the best shows of the year).

The series reunited Graham with his "Boiling Point" director, Philip Barantini, and centers on 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), a boy who is arrested for the murder of a female student at his school. The show (rightly!) debuted to rave reviews, from the stellar performances to the raw tension and the one-take cinematography. It's an emotional, must-watch; don't miss it.

Netflix's latest No. 1 watch is "Black Rabbit," a new gritty crime thriller starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman as two brothers pushed to their limits in New York City's nightlife scene.

Jake (Law) is the charismatic owner of the Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge that's on the cusp of becoming the hottest spot in the city. But when Vince (Bateman) returns to the business, trouble follows him home

Fellow TG writer Alix Blackburn pitched the show as "like "The Bear" meets "Ozark"," and praised "Black Rabbit" in particular for the Bateman/Law duo at the heart of this whole mess.

While it may have landed divisive reviews, I started streaming "Billionaires' Bunker" recently, and this claustrophobic new Spanish series — which comes from "Money Heist" creator, Álex Pina — has certainly piqued my interest after a couple of episodes.

It revolves around a group of super-rich folk who take shelter inside a luxury underground bunker amid an unprecedented global conflict, and sees an old feud reignited between two families that are trapped within this powder-keg setting.

If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
