Netflix just dropped the 'Nobody Wants This' season 2 trailer — and I'm ready to fall in love with this rom-com series all over again

We're less than a month out from the release of "Nobody Wants This" season 2, and Netflix has finally dropped a full trailer for the streaming service's hit romantic comedy. Tons of us (myself included) fell head over heels for Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah's (Adam Brody) relationship journey last year, because it boasted Bell and Brody's excellent on-screen chemistry, heart-warming romance, and solid laughs.

The new trailer proves that the spark between Joanne and Noah is only burning brighter, but it also suggests that season 2 will test their relationship even further. Fair warning, though: If you don't want to see some disgustingly wholesome chatter from the unlikely couple as they continue to figure out how to become a "we," look away now. Otherwise, you can watch the "Nobody Wants This" season 2 trailer below:

Even though the pair are quite clearly thriving in their honeymoon phase, as you can see, there are still some difficult conversations to be had. It's not all doom and gloom, though, as the "Nobody Wants This" season 2 trailer also teases just as many highs as it does lows.

You can see costume party hijinks, warm embraces, and plenty of smiles above, too. Judging by what we've seen, it's probably going to be another uber-charming season of TV, and I can't wait to stream it.

Luckily, we won't have to wait very long to see how things pan out, as "Nobody Wants This" season 2 premieres on Netflix on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

What else do we know about 'Nobody Wants This' season 2 on Netflix?

Netflix has already shared a synopsis for "Nobody Wants This" season 2, which reads: "First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons) and sister-in-law Esther (Jackie Tohn), and even themselves.

"Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives – and loved ones — together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them."

The cast's expanded for the show's sophomore season, too. Along with returning stars like Bell, Brody, Justie Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn (and more), "Nobody Wants This" season 2's cast also includes Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed.

Plus, Tudum recently confirmed that Seth Rogen would guest star in the series, fresh off "The Studio's" success at the Emmys 2025, alongside Kate Berlant ("Don't Worry, Darling").
