9 best early Black Friday tablet deals I've seen so far
We're still weeks away from Thanksgiving, but that hasn't kept major retailers from rolling out the Black Friday deals early. I know that well because I cover tablets for a living here at Tom's Guide, and I've started seeing prices drop at Amazon, Apple, Samsung and more.
The most exciting discounts are on new high-end slates like the 13" iPad Pro M4 for $200 off. You can also get over $60 off the 11" iPad Pro M5 given that's the best iPad ever released and it just launched last month!
But if you prefer Amazon or Android tablets you're in luck, because they're even cheaper than the iPads and feature bigger savings. For example, the recently-released Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is nearly $100 off @ Amazon while the Amazon Fire HD 10 is 50% off, dropping it to under $100.
There are more slates on sale below, so scroll down to have a gander at the best tablet deals I've found all month. I expect to see even deeper discounts and more sales as we get closer to Black Friday, so make sure to bookmark this page and check back if you don't find what you're looking for today!

This is a nice discount on the base iPad with 128GB of storage, and it's one of the best iPads yet. In our iPad 11 review we lauded this tablet for its improved speed, longer battery life and the fact Apple finally bumped it up to 128GB of storage by default.

This is a nice savings on the iPad mini 7 with Wi-Fi + cellular radio, though you'll be limited to Wi-Fi unless you pay for a cell line. This is a remarkably fast little tablet thanks to Apple's A17 Pro chip, and movies and comics look gorgeous on the 8.3-inch (2,266 x 1,488) Liquid Retina display. You also get 12MP cameras on the front and back and Wi-Fi 6e support.

Here's a sweet discount on the latest 11" iPad Air packing Apple's M3 processor, an 11-inch LED (2360 x 1640) display and 128GB of storage. I think this is generally the best iPad for most people because it's better than the basic iPad but doesn't cost as much as the iPad Pro, yet offers nearly all the same features. Check out our iPad Air M3 review to see what I mean!

Here's a bigger discount on a larger version of the iPad Air M3 sporting a 13-inch LED (2732 x 2048) display. Otherwise, it packs the same 128GB of storage, 12MP rear camera, WiFi 6E support, and 12MP front camera. The larger screen is really worth it if you plan to watch a lot of videos, read a lot of comics or play a lot of games.

This isn't a huge discount, but it's amazing you can get one at all given the iPad Pro M5 just came out last month and is Apple's fasted tablet yet. Not only does it have Apple's fastest chip inside and 256GB of storage, it sports a lovely 11-inch Ultra Retina XDR OLED Display that makes everything you do on it look amazing. Check out our recent iPad Pro M5 review to see it in action!

Here's a heftier discount on the slightly older iPad Pro M4, which is still a killer tablet that runs circles around most thanks to its Apple M4 chip. The extra-large 13-inch Ultra Retina XDR display makes this the biggest and most powerful iPad you can buy, so if you want one I'd buy while it's discounted!

Save a nice chunk of change on Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, a mid-range tablet that just launched this year and offers a big, beautiful 13.1-inch LCD panel and a 15+ hours of tested battery life. Read all about it in our Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ review!

This is one of the cheapest Android tablets around right now, but that doesn't mean it's cheap. The Samsung Tab S6 Lite is a small, low-powered Android tablet that sports a crisp 10.4-inch display and comes with an S Pen included at no charge, making it ideal for students and anyone who want to sketch or take notes on the go.

The Fire HD 8 is the smallest Amazon Fire tablet I would recommend you buy, because the smaller Fire 7 has a far worse screen. The HD 8, by comparison, comes with 32GB of storage and offers a nice balance between price and performance, one that's even more appealing now that it's over 30% off.

The Fire HD 8 Kids Pro is basically just the Fire HD 8 but with a kid-friendly case (to protect it against drops) and a free year of Amazon's Kids+, a subscription service that serves up kid-oriented books and other content. This is a great tablet for older kids that aren't teenagers yet, especially at this discounted price.

The Fire HD 10 is an Amazon tablet that feels like a legit iPad alternative since it gives you a 10.1-inch screen driven by an octa-core CPU, admittedly with a paltry 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. This is a nice discount on the cheaper HD 10 that comes with lockscreen ads, but you can pay a small fee to permanently remove them down the line if you get tired of them.

The Fire Max 11 is the biggest and fastest Amazon Fire tablet you can buy, and right now you can get one for over 30% off. Like all Fire tablets this slate runs on FireOS (which is more limited than Android) and sports a bright 11-inch 2K screen powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Mediatek MT8188J CPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. In our Fire Max 11 review we called it Amazon's best Fire tablet yet, and if you act fast you can score one for a killer discount!
