If there's one tablet I'd be looking at during the big Black Friday sales, it's the iPad 11. And as we march towards the big sales event, Apple's most affordable tablet has just crashed to its lowest price yet.

You can now grab the iPad 11 with $70 off at Amazon, taking it down to the lowest price it's been since it launched. That's just for the Blue and Silver models right now, meaning you can grab the best tablet for value we've tested in either of these colors (Blue is a personal favorite).

Apple's latest iPad (11th Gen) is the tablet for most, as its upgraded A16 chip for faster performance, larger 128GB base storage and longer battery at over 11 hours means it can just about do everything you'd want in a tablet. With a $70 discount, you'll be getting the best tablet for value for the lowest price it's ever been.

The iPad 11 is also down to its lowest price at Amazon in the U.K. Don't expect any Apple TV perks here, but do expect a great discount on all colors and storage models.

I'm a huge fan of the iPad 11, and it's mainly due to what you get for its price. Not everyone needs the might of the latest iPad Air or iPad Pro, especially when a tablet it's mainly used for watching shows, scrolling through websites or making the most of tablet-friendly games and apps.

Now that it's $70 off, the iPad for most people delivers even more value. You'll be getting speedy A16 chip performance, upgraded 128GB storage and extended battery life at 11 hours and 25 minutes that even outmatches its siblings (except for the iPad Pro). All that in a lightweight, portable design that's great for using on the couch as well as for traveling around with.

With its 11-inch Liquid Retina display, you can expect crisp, clear imagery and vivid colors to boot, making blockbuster movies and shows on any platform pop with detail and color. I did find the screen to be hard to see in bright settings, like outdoors or next to a window, but when around the house, this isn't a problem.

Recently, I've been watching the hugely anticipated "Pluribus" on this iPad, and I'm getting a kick out of the thrilling absurdity of the show as I take the tablet with me from room to room.

The iPad 11 is now the lowest it's ever been, so if you've been holding out on buying one, get to saving now. We'll be keeping track of even more deals in our Black Friday live blog. But for now, this deal is already a steal.
