Garmin Forerunner 570 hits lowest ever price ahead of the Black Friday sales

Fall is always a great time to pick up a Garmin watch, because once the Black Friday deals period begins many of the brand’s devices will be available at a discount.

One watch I didn’t expect to be significantly reduced, however, is the Garmin Forerunner 570, because it's one of the newer watches in Garmin's line-up. So it's doubly surprising to find it at its lowest ever price on Amazon even before the Black Friday sales have truly started.

You can get the smaller 42mm model of the Garmin Forerunner 570 for $501 at Amazon right now, a 9% saving on an excellent sports watch that’s perfect for runners in particular.

The cloud blue color of the Forerunner 570 is subject to the biggest discount on Amazon right now, dropping to $501, its lowest ever price. You can also save $20 on other colors of the watch, as well as the larger 47mm model, which is going for $529.

The smaller cloud blue model of the Forerunner 570 is not the only one that’s discounted in the Amazon sale, but it offers the biggest saving on the MSRP of $549. If you want a larger watch, the 47mm Forerunner 570 is going for $529, and you can also save $20 on other colors of the smaller model.

I loved testing the Garmin Forerunner 570, which is an accurate and useful tracker and has an attractive lightweight design. I named it the best Garmin watch for runners overall after testing, but I do think it’s a little too expensive when only available at its full price.

That’s why I’m delighted to see it appearing in sales already, despite only being launched in May this year. I expect its predecessor — the Garmin Forerunner 265 — to be discounted this Black Friday, but didn’t reckon on getting almost $50 off the Forerunner 570 this soon.

While it might drop a little further to $499 in the upcoming sales period, I wouldn’t rely on there being many more deals available on the Forerunner 570 this Black Friday, so this discount is worth considering if you’re in the market for a lightweight running watch.
