Labor Day TV sales — 15 early deals I'd shop ahead of September

Summer is rapidly coming to an end. That means football season is right around the corner. If you're hoping to upgrade your TV in time for kickoff, there are plenty of Labor Day TV sales to choose from right now.
Yes, Labor Day is technically September 1, but retailers are desperate to move inventory and I'm seeing plenty of deals on some of the best TVs we've tested this year. One of the best sales right now comes from Amazon.
For a limited time, Amazon has smart TVs on sale from $79. Standout deals include the Roku 55-inch Select Series 4K TV for $298 and the Hisense 55-inch U8 Mini-LED 4K QLED TV for $878.
I own and recommend buying an OLED, but I understand that price points are still a little higher than that of standard 4K TVs. That's why I'm a fan of the LG 48-inch B5 4K OLED TV for $799 at Best Buy. It replaces last year's B4 model, which we called our OLED value of the year, and continues offering epic bang for your buck.
Those aren't the only TV deals available right now. Keep scrolling to see all my favorite Labor Day TV sales. For savings across all categories, check out our Labor Day sales page.

55-inch TVs
This 55-inch Insignia TV offers impressive image quality no matter what you're watching. Thanks to its built-in Fire TV features, you can also stream all your favorite shows and movies and control them with your voice thanks to full Alexa support.
The most affordable TV that carries the Bravia moniker is Sony's Bravia 3, and right now, it's on sale for an even lower price. Despite the Bravia 3's lack of luminance and local dimming, we appreciated the accuracy of its out-of-the-box performance in Sony's Professional picture mode in our Sony Bravia 3 LED TV review. It's priced higher than most budget-oriented 55-inch TVs, however, so you'll have to spend a bit more for Sony engineering.
This Mini-LED TV brings several enticing upgrades for gamers. Built on a 165Hz refresh rate with a Game Mode Ultra mode, the Hisense U7QG is designed to be the best seat in the house for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and even your PC. Add to that one serious sound system in its 2.1.2-channel speaker and you've got a powerhouse of a TV with tons of flare.

The QM6K is a quantum dot-enhanced Mini-LED TV that has a lot going for it. Its picture quality is impressive and it gets even better when you turn on picture settings like Filmmaker mode or Dolby Vision IQ HDR. In our TCL QM6K Mini-LED TV review we said its feature set, picture quality, and price point are the perfect combination for anyone looking for an affordable TV.
This is a solid 4K TV deal. In our Vizio Quantum Pro review we praised this set's colorful picture, local dimming and excellent viewing angles. It's also a well-equipped gaming TV, with a 120Hz refresh and FreeSync Premium Pro support.

The Hisense U8QG Mini-LED TV is one of the brightest TVs we've ever tested, but that's not the only trick up its sleeve. The U8QG is also packed with features for gaming and beyond. And, if you're an A/V enthusiast who values picture accuracy, you're sure to appreciate how well-tuned the U8QG is right out of the box.
Our Sony Bravia 9 TV review said this Mini-LED TV looks almost as good as an OLED. It delivers truly incredible brightness (up to 2713 nits,) great gaming features and an excellent interface. It also has an ATSC 3.0 tuner, support for HDR10/HLG/Dolby Vision, a 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports.

75-inch TVs
Sony's Bravia 2 II (read as "mark two") launched this year, offering budget pricing on a serious LED screen. While it may not boast sophisticated display technology, it does come equipped with special PS5 features that enhance visuals for gaming, and it's kitted with Google TV, so you have access to all your favorite content, plus tons of free channels.
The 65-inch TCL QM7K isn't quite as impressive as higher-end Mini-LED TVs, but it's a perfect fit for budget-conscious shoppers who'd still prefer to upgrade to something with impressive picture quality. This set comes with a pair of HDMI 2.1-compatible inputs as well as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Dolby Vision support. For more information, check out our full TCL QM7K review.
This is Amazon's first Mini-LED TV. It features a 144Hz refresh rate in tandem with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support to give gamers ample juice for fast-paced games. The TV also has an Ambient Experience feature, so when it's powered off it displays dynamic artwork. This is also the first Amazon Fire TV to support Dolby Atmos audio.

The TCL QM7K is a (relatively) budget-friendly Mini-LED TV that is perfect for folks who want to upgrade to a truly impressive TV without breaking the bank. It features built-in Google TV with Chromecast, a slate of sought-after gaming features (such as HDMI 2.1 and 4K gaming up to 144Hz), and a bright, colorful picture worthy of movie night. In our TCL QM7K QD-Mini LED TV review we said the Editor's Choice TV is an affordable TV you can count on.
OLED TVs
The B5 is LG's most affordable OLED of 2025, but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not a terrific TV for folks looking to save money on an OLED. In addition to supporting 4K gaming at 120Hz, the B5 also supports Dolby Vision HDR and costs significantly less than its higher-end counterparts.

Offering a slew of features, like a range of HDR certifications and gaming specs for the PS5 Pro crowd, the C5 proves a major improvement over its predecessor. We called it "nearly flawless" and gave it a 5-star rating in our LG C5 OLED TV review.
