Ready for a laptop upgrade? Now’s the perfect time thanks to these laptop sales at Huawei. Some of my favourite models have seen impressive price cuts, meaning you can boost your productivity at a fraction of the usual cost.
Right now you can get the Huawei MateBook 14 on sale for £849 at Huawei. This is £350 off and an awesome laptop with an OLED display and an Intel Core 7 Ultra processor.
Or, if you want even more power, you can get the Huawei MateBook 14 X Pro on sale for £1,499 at Huawei. And you don’t just need to take my word for how great it is — our Managing Editor of Computing, Jason England named it his favourite Windows laptop in his Huawei MateBook 14 X Pro review.

We put this laptop to the test in our Huawei MateBook 14 review and found a lot to like. We loved its gorgeous 2.8K OLED touch display that was crisp and colorful, strong performance and super comfortable keyboard. We wish it had Thunderbolt 4 ports and a better touchpad, but with a huge £350 discount applied here, it’s hard to complain too much about these small flaws.
The Huawei MateBook 14 X Pro is the ultimate MacBook killer. We had a tonne of praise for it in our MateBook 14 X Pro review, with our reviewer naming it his favourite Windows laptop overall. It has a gorgeous 14.2-inch 3.1K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, that makes everything look fantastic. Plus, it has plenty of power thanks to its Intel Core U7-155H CPU, 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.
If you want a machine that’s both beautiful and powerful, you can’t go wrong with Huawei’s MateBooks. Now that they’re on sale, they’re even better value and I highly recommend picking one up before these deals disappear.
While they’re not perfect, both the MateBook 14 and the MateBook 14 X Pro have a lot going for them. Both these laptops have gorgeous OLED displays, excellent specs and productivity-friendly designs.
They’re also both extremely portable — the MateBook 14 measures 0.5 inches thick and weighs 2.9 pounds, meanwhile the MateBook 14 X Pro measures 0.5 inches thick and weighs just 2.2 pounds. As such, you’ll barely notice these notebooks in your backpack as you go about your day.
