Ninja can’t seem to put a foot wrong, and today it enters the outdoor heating market with the launch of the Ninja Fireside360 Outdoor Heater and Firepit. While Ninja is no stranger to outdoor products, with its range of best grills and outdoor ovens, today’s launch marks a new venture into heating.

Ninja claims that its new propane fire pit solves the issues that have plagued fire pit enthusiasts for generations and delivers 360-degree warmth without the smoke, cleanup, or cold spots.

We’ll take a view on that once we’ve put it to the test and pitted it against the best fire pits in our buying guide, including the Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0 that we rate as the best smokeless fire pit overall.

The newly-launched Fireside360 is a smokeless firepit and heater in one neat unit. There are three heat modes, you can feel the warmth up to 13ft. away, and since its powered by propane, there's nothing to clean away.

The Ninja Fireside360 doesn’t disappoint on looks. As we’ve come to expect from this brand, Ninja manages to combine practicality and functionality with style. You won’t be hiding this fire pit in the corner when it’s not in use.

As for price, it's a premium firepit, for sure. The Ninja Fireside360 is available direct from Ninja for $449. This is $100 more than the Solo Stove Bonfire Firepit, which is $349 at Amazon and $150 more than Cuisinart’s Cleanburn Fire Pit, which is $299 at Amazon.

The Ninja Fireside360 eliminates cold spots

So, what does Ninja’s Fireside360 offer? With 80,000 BTUs of heat, it’s powerful enough to provide heat for large gatherings with a heat radius of 13 feet. But Ninja claims its standout feature is its HeatZone Technology, which delivers precision control with 360 degrees of heat distribution — leaving no guest stuck in a cold spot and feeling chilly.

“With the Fireside360, we’ve delivered a solution that eliminates the compromises people have accepted for generations — the smoke, the uneven heating, the constant repositioning, and the seasonal surrender of outdoor spaces.

"This empowers outdoor enthusiasts who refuse to let the seasons dictate when they can enjoy their favorite spaces,” says Kelly Megel, Ninja's Vice President of Marketing.

Three modes for flexibility

Aside from precision heating, operation couldn’t be easy with three modes controlled by a dial. Select powerful heat to stay warm, or cozy flames for an ambient effect, or both at once.

One of the biggest downsides for many firepits is that you keep warm, but smell smoky. It sticks to clothes as well, so you need to throw your outfit in the wash once back inside. But as there's no smoke with the Fireside360, there's also no extra laundry or burning eyes.

No cleanup

And for convenience, the Ninja Fireside360 is easy to clean. There’s no ash to sweep up or embers to remove. Once you turn it off, you can forget about it until next time. I think that could be the ultimate big win if you're looking to host people as the weather gets cooler during fall.

What’s more, it’s designed to be used on multiple surfaces, and will rest securely on grass, dirt, stone and wood. Plus, as a safety feature, the base is cool to the touch.

Megel adds that the firepit helps extend the time you use your outside space, “Whether you’re hosting gatherings on your patio, or simply reclaiming months of outdoor enjoyment at home, the Fireside360 delivers the perfect blend of convenience, performance, and value for anyone who sees outdoor living as a year-round sanctuary.”

The Ninja Fireside36 joins the brand's outdoor range, including the Ninja FlexFlame propane grill, which was launched earlier this year. It also sits alongside Ninja’s Woodfire Grills and Ninja’s Outdoor Pizza Ovens.
