I’m constantly tracking Black Friday deals and when I see “Dyson” and “55% off” paired together, I sit up and pay attention. Dyson makes some of the best vacuum cleaners we’ve tested, but they’re usually pretty expensive — luckily you can score a massive saving on this cordless model ahead of Black Friday.

Like the name suggests, the Dyson V9 is a mid-range entry from Dyson, sitting between the Dyson V8 and V11 in terms of power. However, with 55% off for Black Friday, it's priced more like a budget-friendly model. It delivers 40 minutes of cleaning power on a charge, and can switch between a stick and handheld mode.

If you’ve been hunting for a lightweight, but powerful vacuum cleaner, you’ve found it with the Dyson V9. Weighing just 4.6 pounds, it’s lighter than the majority of vacuum cleaners we’ve tested but still busts dust with ease.

This is a well-loved vacuum cleaner — one user on Dyson’s website wrote that this was a “Super vacuum! Lightweight, easy maneuverability, really makes a chore a pleasure!” This model released in June 2025 and doesn’t have a ton of Amazon reviews under its belt yet, but it has earned a solid 4.1 star rating so far.

The Dyson V9 is also rated for 40 minutes of cleaning time on a charge. That equals our favorite vacuum cleaner on the market, the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless. One snag is that you have to hold the trigger down to activate the vacuum during the entire clean, which could get tiring if you regularly run your vacuum for the full 40 minutes.
