Running since 2019, the Tour Championship has been dominated in the past few years by two of the three members the ‘Class of 92’, with Mark Williams taking the title two years ago and John Higgins triumphing in 2025. This year, one of these two will be sent packing early as they meet in the standout tie of the first round.

The celebrated duo last met in the quarterfinals of the World Championship last April, with Williams securing victory in thrilling fashion as he won an epic contest 13-12 on the final black. The winner faces another tough test in the last four, with four-time world champion Mark Selby lying in wait as one of the top four-ranked players.

Other contenders for the title include reigning world champion Zhao Xintong, who has won the other two tournaments in the 2026 Players Series, Thailand’s rising star Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, one-year top-ranked Neil Robertson and world No. 1 Judd Trump. However, one big name missing from the list is Ronnie O’Sullivan. The 50-year-old lost in the World Open final last week to Un-Nooh, who hit a 147, and has opted out of playing in this year’s tournament.

Despite the Rocket's absence, it’s set to be a thrilling tournament and you can watch every minute of the action from the 2026 Tour Championship for FREE. Read on below to find out how.
