Laptop deals are getting harder to come by. AI data centers are buying RAM in bulk to power their RAM-hungry AI models, which in turn is causing a shortage in RAM. The resulting RAMaggedon has caused the price of RAM to skyrocket, which in turn is affecting the price of laptops.

I track laptop deals for a living and while I've seen prices increase, there are still some deals worth noting. For example, right now Dell is taking up to $800 off select laptops and desktops. It may sound like your everyday sale, but hidden within this sale is $220 off the new XPS 14 (2026). In our XPS 14 (2026) review we called it a fantastic laptop with amazing performance and battery life.
