NordVPN's eSIM goes premium — introducing Saily Ultra
Plans include unlimited data and a NordVPN Ultra subscription, but it's not cheap

Nord Security has launched its most complete eSIM plan designed for total cybersecurity protection abroad – Saily Ultra.
This is Saily's most premium plan and it's created by the team behind our best VPN, NordVPN.
With Saily Ultra, subscribers get unlimited global eSIM data is on offer, along with a range of premium cybersecurity tools and special benefits for travelers.
Plans include monthly subscriptions to NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker, and Incogni – but it doesn't come cheap. Saily Ultra costs $59.99 per month, far more expensive than any NordVPN plan.
Saily Ultra | Premium eSIM | $59.99 per month
Saily Ultra grants you up to 30 GB of high-speed data per month, as well as unlimited low-speed data in 113 countries. You can change your location and protect your data from trackers. Plans include NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker, and Incogni, plus extra perks, and costs $59.99 per month.
Unlimited data and cybersecurity protection
Saily is a secure eSIM offering mobile data coverage in 200+ countries. The Ultra plan grants you 30 GB of high-speed data every month, with unlimited data after this is used up. Speeds are capped at 1 Mbps for this unlimited data, though.
113 destinations are covered by unlimited eSIM connectivity, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Saily has built-in cybersecurity features including an ad blocker and web protection which blocks malicious sites and limits trackers. In late 2024, Saily introduced Virtual Location and this allows users to change their browsing location. Over 115 locations are available and your traffic will be routed through one of NordVPN's encrypted servers.
However, Saily Ultra throws in almost all cybersecurity tools Nord Security has to offer. You'll get monthly subscriptions to NordVPN – our pick for best travel VPN. You'll benefit from super fast speeds of 900 Mbps, protection for up to 10 devices, and over 8,000 servers across 126 countries.
NordVPN is one of the best streaming VPNs thanks to its powerful unblocking capabilities. So no matter where you are abroad, you'll be able to watch your favorite shows as if you were sitting on the couch at home.
You'll also get NordPass, one of the best password managers, 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage with NordLocker, and the data removal service Incogni.
Saily said users are given subscriptions to the NordVPN Ultra plan. A standalone NordVPN Ultra plan is currently a Canadian-exclusive and costs CA$7.71 per month, with a free CA$50 Amazon gift card thrown in, thanks to our exclusive deal.
If you're in America and want all these features, but not Saily, you'd need to subscribe to a NordVPN Complete plan for $4.62 per month. Incogni is then an extra $4.28 per month add-on, bringing your total monthly cost to $8.90.

NordVPN is our pick for #1 VPN overall, combining speed, security, privacy, and power. There's over 8,000 servers worldwide and protection for up to 10 devices. Until August 12, thanks to our EXCLUSIVE DEAL, plans start from $2.91 per month ($81.36 up front pre-tax). All plans include 4 extra months of protection and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Exclusive perks
Saily Ultra's exclusive perks go beyond just cybersecurity. 8% cashback, in the form of Saily credits, will be granted on all data purchases – other Saily users get 5%.
Ultra subscribers will also get priority access to Saily's 24/7 support team, ensuring you get the fastest fix for your problem.
With Saily Ultra, you'll have access to airport lounges in selected airports and a fast-track service at security and check-in. Saily says these perks are coming soon and will let users know when they are ready.
Saily Ultra is billed monthly and you can cancel your subscription up to two days before your next payment.
"The Saily Ultra plan is designed for travelers who demand the best, blending convenience, premium service, and innovation," said Vykintas Maknickas, CEO of Saily. "We’re taking care of your connectivity needs, increasing online privacy and security, and providing extra luxuries on the go – all in one plan."
Is it worth it?
Whether Saily Ultra is worth it depends on how frequently you travel and how much data you'll use.
Saily says Ultra is "ideal for frequent and business travelers, as well as digital nomads." So for most people, regular Saily plans and regular NordVPNs represent better value.
A high-speed data limit of 30 GB is somewhat disappointing considering the price you're paying. For comparison, 20 GB of data for 30 days in the UK is $31.99. 30 days of unlimited UK data is $71.99 but only 5 GB per day is high-speed.
Regardless of whether Saily Ultra is for you or not, a VPN and eSIM are the perfect companions for trips abroad.
Free public Wi-Fi can be exploited by hackers and this risk is heightened when you're in an unfamiliar country. Using secure data via an eSIM means you can avoid Wi-Fi altogether but should you need to connect to it, a VPN will ensure your data is encrypted and hidden from prying eyes.
Using a VPN to connect to your home country means you can browse the web and access your usual sites and apps in the same way you would normally. Additional cybersecurity protections mean all your devices remain protected, no matter where you are.
We test and review VPN services in the context of legal recreational uses. For example: 1. Accessing a service from another country (subject to the terms and conditions of that service). 2. Protecting your online security and strengthening your online privacy when abroad. We do not support or condone the illegal or malicious use of VPN services. Consuming pirated content that is paid-for is neither endorsed nor approved by Future Publishing.
