Dubbed the Motorola Olympus, Android and Me received information about the phone this week and it looks like the as-yet-unannounced Nexus S could have some competition on its hands. Rumors about the Olympus, code name the Motorola MB860, have been doing the rounds for a little while. At CTIA, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha confirmed that the device was real but didn't reveal anything else about it.
Today we've got tons of details, courtesy of a specs list that was sent to Android and Me. According to the site's anonymous tipster, the phone will pack Nvidia's Tegra 2, which everyone has been dying to see inside a smartphone. Not only that but we also know that it's headed to AT&T and that it will boast Android 2.2.1.
Unfortunate news for those of you who dislike custom skins or UI layers over your stock Android: the Olympus is going to be shipping with Android 2.2 but with Motoblur on top. That said, it's going to be a new version of Motoblur (Blur_Version.4.0.1450) so you never know, you might actually end up liking it.
