23 Prime Day TV deals worth your money — best bets for gaming, World Cup parties and more
Here's all the Prime Day TV deals I'd get right now
The first Prime Day TV deals of 2026 are finally here and they're arriving right in the nick of time. Now that the World Cup is underway, there's never been a better time to upgrade your TV. Whether you're upgrading to a bigger screen or investing in better display technology, these early Prime Day TV deals merit your full attention.
For example, right now Amazon has smart TVs on sale from $69. It's one of the lowest prices I've seen outside of Black Friday. The deal I'm most excited about is the Roku 65-inch 4K QLED TV for just $399. I have the smaller non-QLED version of this TV in my bedroom and I absolutely love it. Alternatively, you can get the Insignia 85-inch 4K QLED TV for just $659. That's an unheard of price for a TV this size and one of the best TV deals you can get right now.

My Top Picks
TV sale: deals from $69 @ Amazon
Amazon has smart TVs on sale for as low as $69. Keep in mind, the cheap TVs tend to be smaller, 1080p models (which are more suitable for a children's room or guest room). However, the sale also includes larger sets. These are among the cheapest TVs we've seen from Amazon. By comparison, Best Buy is offering a similar sale with prices from $69.

OLED TVs
LG's entry-level OLED isn't listed as being on sale at Amazon, but this TV's original price was set to $1,499. Just recently, it dropped further to $999. Ahead of Prime Day, you can get the 55-inch B5 for just $899. This modest OLED isn't as bright as higher-end LG OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz.

Samsung's entry-level OLED may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level OLED TVs, but it still offers all of the benefits we've come to expect from this incredible display technology, including perfect black levels and pixel-level dimming. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features.

In our LG C5 review, we awarded this OLED TV with a rare five-star rating for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features (especially for gamers) and its approachable price point. At that time, it was still priced at $2,699 for a 65-inch model. Ahead of Prime Day, the 65-inch C5 is a whopping 48% off. I expect it to be one of the most popular TVs this Prime Day.

The C6 is LG's new flagship OLED TV for 2026. In our LG C6 OLED TV review we said the Editor's Choice TV performs brilliantly offering top-tier brightness and colors. We're also fans of its gameplay enhancing features including a new Game Optimizer mode that obliterates input lag and boosts FPS on both consoles and PCs. It's predecessor, the C5, is still a great TV and cheaper, but if you want the latest and greatest — you won't be disappointed with the C6.

The entry-level M70H is a competitively priced Mini-LED TV. This 2026 TV is equipped with an array of Mini-LED backlighting, but keep in mind it doesn't come with quantum dot-enhanced color. Nevertheless, you get Samsung's advanced processor, which delivers brighter highlights and deeper blacks to your screen.

Make your TV the centerpiece of your living room with Samsung's massive 98-inch TV. As part of the company's budget Crystal line, this 98-inch TV is priced aggressively, yet includes plenty of features Samsung is known for. That includes a 120Hz display, HDR10 support, and Samsung's Tizen OS.

The TCL QM64L is a 2026 Amazon exclusive. This QD-Mini LED offers the benefits of Mini LED TV with TCL's Halo Control System, which promises stunning "halo-free" images. There's also TCL’s Enhanced QLED technology for improved colors and faithfully reproducing nearly all the DCI-P3 color space. Meanwhile, the 144Hz native panel refresh rate with Motion Rate 480 focuses on best-in-class motion clarity producing smooth video playback when watching sports or playing games.

Samsung's entry-level QLED TV improves upon its predecessors from previous years with a direct-LED display rather than a garden-variety, edge-lit panel. This means it has better overall contrast than previous Samsung QLEDs at this price range. I still recommend one of the Mini-LED TVs on this list over the Q7F, but if the name of the game is "Save Money," this one might be the ticket.

The Hisense QD7 is our current winner for the best budget TV. We gave it a 4-star rating in our Hisense QD7 TV review, praising its colorful picture, excellent sound and sharp upscaling. Note — the 75-inch and larger models have a 144Hz refresh rate, but the 65-inch and smaller TVs drop to 60Hz, making them less great for watching live sports.

Amazon's Fire TV Omni QLED (AKA Amazon Ember) is on sale for $709. It comes with built-in Fire TV streaming capabilities and Alexa functionality. The Omni taps an array of LED backlights with local dimming for improved contrast over TVs with edge-lit displays, but note that some TVs at or below the Omni's price range offer more-advanced display technology.

As we mentioned in our Hisense U8QG review, this one of the brightest TVs we've ever tested. It's also packed with features for gaming and beyond, too. And, if you're an A/V enthusiast who values picture accuracy, you're sure to appreciate how well-tuned the U8QG is right out of the box. It's important to note that, based on previous Prime Day sale patterns, I expect this TV to drop even further in price once Prime Day officially begins. If you can't wait, though, this is a great deal to hang your hat on.

The 75-inch Hisense U75QG is a great option for bargain-hunters looking to upgrade their living room to a sensationally bright, big-screen TV. Amazon's pre-Prime Day sale takes the sting out of its typical price. In addition to its blisteringly bright display, gamers are likely to squeeze the most value out of the U75QG, as it's loaded with gaming-related enhancements.

The QM8L is one of the few 2026 TVs on sale ahead of Prime Day. It's a fantastic way to experience TCL's SQD Mini-LED technology for much less than what you'll spend on a higher-end model. We recently awarded this TV a 4-star rating in our TCL QM8L review for its sensational contrast, its thorough collection of features and, of course, its eye-popping color, the latter of which is made possible by TCL's intriguing new display technology.

If you're shopping Prime Day for a super-affordable TV with an emphasis on simple, easy streaming, this Roku Plus Series deal ought to be at the top of your list. Its modest array of Mini-LEDs allows for better contrast control than what you'll find on cheaper TVs with edge-lit displays, and thanks to its built-in Roku functionality, the Plus Series is very easy to use. It's my pick for people who just want to start streaming as soon and as easily as possible.

One of the few mid-range Mini-LED options worth shopping ahead of Prime Day is the TCL QM7K. Like the two TVs listed above it, the QM7K blends Mini-LED backlighting with quantum-dot color. The QM7K, however, is much brighter than those aforementioned sets. In our TCL QM7K review, we awarded this TV four stars in large part because of its implementation of Google TV and its thorough array of features for gamers.
