No way! Best Buy just slashed this 65-inch Sony OLED TV by $600 just in time for the NFL season

The start of the NFL season means you'll need a pristine display that can handle motion processing while spitting out excellent colors. For that, you'll want an OLED TV, and there's no better option than a Sony model.
Right now, you can get the 65-inch Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV for $1,399 at Best Buy. That's serious value on one of our favorite OLED TVs from last year, netting you cinematic HDR experiences, tons of gaming features, and a robust speaker system for $600 less than asking. (For more deals, check out our OLED TV deals guide).
The Bravia 8 was launched in 2024, bringing Sony's eye for cinematic expression to a whole new platform. It may not yield the most impressive performance metrics, but it does offer incredible color coverage in HDR. It also comes with an ATSC 3.0 tuner, meaning you have access to Nextgen TV and 4K broadcasts.
The Sony Bravia 8 remains one of the best OLED TVs you can buy right now, and is one of Sony's most feature-rich models. It might be getting outshone by its newest brethren, the Sony Bravia 8 II, but that doesn't stop the Bravia 8 from being the perfect pick for the NFL season — especially when you can save $600 on it.
In our review of the Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV, we highlighted its gorgeous picture quality. Sony is well-known for delivering exceptional cinematic experiences owing to its design of some of the movie industry's best color grading sets.
This extends to the Bravia 8, which has incredible color coverage in both SDR and HDR. In our testing lab, it eked out a solid 99.11% in the UHD-P3 gamut, which pertains to its HDR performance. Luckily, the Bravia 8 also includes the full range of HDR formats, unlike its LG and Samsung rivals that trade off HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.
Another standout feature on the Bravia 8 is its audio system. Most TVs tend to have middling speaker performance, but Sony has designed a sophisticated audio system in the Bravia 8 so you won't even need to get one of the best soundbars.
However, there are a few caveats to consider when buying into the Sony platform, the main one being gaming performance. We tested the Bravia 8 with a 12.6ms input latency, which isn't great if you're buying this TV solely for gaming. At least it does come with some PS5-exclusive features.
The Bravia 8 is still one fantastic OLED, but perhaps you're looking for a big-screen value instead? Although Black Friday deals haven't landed just yet, you'll still find some incredible savings on QLEDs and Mini-LED TVs, like this 75-inch Roku Pro Series TV that's just $800 right now.
