The World Cup is coming to an end this weekend and Best Buy is ending things with a bang. The retailer has been offering excellent TV deals all summer long, but right now it has one of the best OLED deals of the year.

For a limited time, Best Buy is offering the LG 77-inch B5 4K OLED TV on sale for $1,499. That's 50% off and one of the best OLED TV deals I've seen this week.

The B5 is LG's most affordable OLED, but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not a terrific TV. In addition to supporting 4K gaming at 120Hz, the B5 also supports Dolby Vision HDR and costs significantly less than its higher-end counterparts. In our LG B5 OLED review we said it produces a decent picture and delivers a slew of other pluses. Yes, the B6 is taking its place this year, but the B5 is still an incredible TV at this price.

It's worth noting that the new B6 OLED is now available for purchase. However, the 77-inch model costs a whopping $2,599 at Best Buy. In our LG B6 OLED TV review, we said the new TV does offer a lot of improvements, but you won't find significant deals on it till later this year.

Meanwhile, the LG B5 is being phased out, but it's still a tremendous TV. You won't find another OLED TV in this screen size and with this performance for $1,499. In our LG B5 OLED TV review we said it delivers good color reproduction, strong gaming performance, and LG's slick webOS software. Combined, it's one of our favorite TVs of all time. It's brightness could be better, but at this price point it's not a deal breaker.

If you want this TV in time for the World Cup final this weekend, you'll want to order ASAP. Alternatively, you can buy online and opt for in-store pickup.
