Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress (queen): $649 at Nectar Sleep

We slept on this bed for six weeks for our Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress review. The verdict? If you're looking for a memory foam mattress with a medium-firm feel and not much sinkage, this is it. We found it comfortable to sleep in all sleep positions, and think it's a great choice for co-sleeping parents of young children since it's contouring but not restrictive. Right now, a twin starts at $349, and a queen is $649. It comes with a one-year trial and a lifetime warranty for peace of mind.

Is this mattress right for you?

The Nectar Classic is on the firmer side of medium. It's very supportive, so back and stomach sleepers should get plenty of comfort. However, it still offered enough pressure relief to be comfortable for side sleepers as well.

This mattress has a breathable cover that helps with overheating at night. It won't be on par with the best cooling mattresses, but for a mid-range all-foam mattress, the temperature regulation here is very good.

The Nectar Classic is also a great bed if you co-sleep with a child. The firmer surface offers a supportive and safe space to accommodate your child's growing body without them feeling trapped. It's also comfortable enough for adults to get a good night's rest on it.

Motion isolation is outstanding — we rated it a 5/5 in our tests. You're unlikely to be disturbed by your child moving around or if you share a bed with a restless partner.

For a mattress that offers that traditional 'hug' sensation, you won't find it with the Nectar Classic. If that's what you're looking for, consider this alternative...

For a softer all-foam mattress that hugs the body...

Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress (queen): $949 at Nectar Sleep

'Body-hugging comfort in a box' is how we describe this bed in our Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress review. It has a softer touch than the Nectar Classic, which makes it a better choice for side sleepers who need more profound pressure relief. (Lightweight sleepers may get on better with it, too.) Compared to the Nectar Classic, this is a notable step up in price, but at $949 for a queen (with a one-year trial and a lifetime warranty), it's still a decent deal.
