What delivery options does Sonic Direct offer?
Customers can choose from four different delivery options for their Sonic Direct order. Standard delivery should arrive in 2 - 7 working days (or the next working day if you place before 3pm and are in the Yorkshire area), and will mean your appliance is delivered to a room of your choice.
You can also choose to have your order unpacked and waste packaging removed, with the additional option of adding on installation to this package. If you want your order delivered on a weekend, you will need to choose Special Sunday Delivery, which is available on selected items (so long as you order before 4pm on a Friday).
Costs and exact delivery times for orders are worked out on a per order basis based on the items you're ordering and the address you're having your items shipped to. All fees will be displayed at the checkout before you confirm, so keep an eye out before you place your order.
Can Sonic Direct install my appliance?
Absolutely! To have your appliances installed upon delivery, you will need to select the Deliver + Unpack + Remove Waste + Install delivery option at the checkout. The cost of this will depend on the item and your address.
As part of the service, you will need to ensure safe passage from the delivery vehicle to the installation point, with enough space for the appliance, a socket within a metre, and all necessary leads (either included as part of your purchase or available upon arrival).
For TVs, they will need to be away from heat sources (i.e. radiators), whilst fridges, freezers, dishwashers and laundry appliances need to be near usable, pre-existing waste outlets (as Sonic Direct will not do any plumbing).
Can Sonic Direct recycle my old appliance?
If you're replacing an old device with a new one, recycling is also available as an add-on at the checkout, with prices varying depending on your postcode area. You will need to ensure your appliance is disconnected before it can be collected for recycling. Note that this service is only available when replacing your appliance with a like-for-like product, and is limited to one appliance (you can't order a TV and ask the outlet to take your old fridge and oven).
Does Sonic Direct price match?
Yes, Sonic Direct prides itself on its deals and low prices, keeping an eye on close competitors to ensure it offers competitive prices across its range. If you do find an item selling for less at Argos, Currys, John Lewis or AO.com, or any other UK-based electrical outlet, you can contact the team to get the price matched. Items will need to be in-stock at both the competitor and Sonic Direct, be identical in all respects (model and specs), not discounted via any promotional deals, and include like-for-like warranties, delivery options etc. to be eligible.
Does Sonic Direct accept returns?
If you change your mind on your appliance, you can file a return within 14 days of making your purchase, but you will need to make sure your item is unused, has not been installed, and can be repackaged in the original packaging along with all originally-included items to be eligible for a full refund. You can request the team collect your appliance for a "reasonable fee", which is calculated based on your location and items. To start a return, you will need to contact the customer service team.

We want to make sure every voucher is ready to use whenever someone visits one of our pages, so we don’t include any user-specific or one-time use codes. What to do if a voucher code doesn’t work
Although we work hard to only include tried and tested vouchers on our pages, sometimes codes can expire or terms and conditions can be changed before we have a chance to update the code or our pages. If your discount isn’t being applied at the checkout, there are a number of things you can do.
First, check you meet any listed requirements such as multibuy offers, minimum spends, or product-specific deals. For example, you may need to buy 3 items to receive your discount, or your code may only be applicable to orders with certain models (i.e. 10% off specific smartphones). If you need to review the details of your chosen deal, click the text that reads “View terms and conditions” below the main text.

How we make money
Tom’s Guide makes money from vouchers on a commission basis. We have agreements with every retailer that has a vouchers page for, and for every order placed using one of our codes, we earn a portion of the order total back in commission from that retailer.
Using this model means all of our profits are paid for by the retailers we partner with, and we do not pass any costs on to our users.
